一、 说教材 《Shenzhou V flew into space》是外研版六年级英语下册第七模块第一单元的内容,本文主要向我们讲述了神五及航天英雄杨利伟的一些信息,复习了一般过去时的用法,通过学习培养学生对科学、对祖国的热爱。课文从第三者的角度对神舟五号及杨利伟作了介绍,课文除了大量运用一般过去时态来讲述故事外,还呈现了另一个连接词“and”的用法。

二、说学生

本单元的学习任务就是复习动词的过去式。六年级的学生有一定的语言表述能力,对英语学习表现出积极性和初步的自信心,但是用动词的过去式表达发生过的事件还有一定的难度。

三、 说教学目标

(一) 知识目标:

1掌握动词的过去式:spend-spent fly-flew become-became

2掌握句型:

In October 2003 ,Shenzhou V flew into space with Yang Liwei .

自主学习

为了贯彻学生为主导,课堂上鼓励学生自主学习,发现并讨论问题,激发学生学习的自主性。在教学中我把读贯穿全文,我在朗读教学中采用了跟读(让学生感受到语音、语调的变化)、齐读、默读等等。

合作探究

为培养学生的合作精神,在教学过程中鼓励学生小组合作,充分发挥集体的力量。学习课文时,让学生带着问题有目的的听,学生集体讨论得出答案,这样相互补充得到更加完整的答案。

一、教学目标:

1. 知识目标:(1)在课文、句型和实际交际中学习以下单词:flew, became, spent, hour, son, proud, pilot,video, taikonaut等;

(2)学习并能口头运用Shenzhou V flew into space with Yang Liwei;Yang Liwei spent about 21 hours in space;He made a video and now he is very famous.等来描述过去事情的语句。

2.技能目标:

(1)能听懂课文内容,并能回答与课文相关的问题。

(2)能根据图片或实际情况,运用一般过去式来描述本课杨利伟及神州五号的故事;

3、情感目标:通过学习课文故事,激发并增强学生的民族自豪感和爱国主义热情。体现师生同心、同乐、同学的“乐学—导学”教育模式,培养学生“自主、合作、探究”的精神和乐于竞争,乐于交流,乐于合作的能力。

二、教学重难点:

Step 1: Warming-up:

T: Stand up, please! Good morning, boys and girls! Pleased to meet you! Ss: Good morning, teacher! Pleased to meet you, too!

T: Today I’m your new teacher, and here is my name. Of course, you can call me Ms Zhao! Ok?

Ss: Ok!

T: Now sit down, please! At the beginning of the class, I want to tell you a story. Do you like stories?

Ss: Yes, we do.

T: Wonderful! Now let’s begin our story, and please listen carefully!

“Long long ago, there was a beautiful woman named Chang’er. Her husband(丈夫), Houyi was a hero(英雄), who shot down(射下) nine suns. And Yuhuangdadi rewarded(奖励) him some medicines(药), which could help him fly into the sky. But Chang’er stole(偷) it and ate all of the medicines, so Chang’er flew into the sky and since then(从此以后) she lived on the moon.”

(设计意图:热情的和学生打招呼,并给他们讲一个家喻户晓的故事,以此练习学生的英语口语和听力水平,同时融洽了师生之间的关系,使学生迅速进入英语学习的状态。) Step 2: Lead in:

century, another Chinese man flew into space, too. Do you know who he is ? Ss:...

T: Now let’s look at his picture. Oh, it’s Yang Liwei. And he flew into the sky by Shenzhou V. Do you want to know more about Shenzhou V? 出示杨利伟、神舟五号飞船的图片,引出课题 (Put the photo of Yang Liwei and the picture of Shenzhou V on the sceen)。

Ss:... T: Now, let’s learn Module 7 Unit 1 Shenzhou V flew into space. 板书课题并齐读。Show the card “flew”.

Step 3:Presentation

1. T: Let’s listen to the tape for the first time and find the new words and the verbs’ past tense.

学习课文中的新单词,并复习动词的过去式形式。

(设计意图:单词卡片明显、直观;而多媒体通过图片和文字的整合出示英语词汇,可加强学生的记忆力。第一遍课文演示,让学生明了阅读对象,通过新单词的学习介入,删除一些阅读障碍。)

T: Have you found the new words? Look at the screen, please! Here are some pronouncations. Can you write the new words according to their

pronouncations? Have a try, please!让学生根据音标写出新单词!

T:You have done a good job! Today we have got a new friend! Let’s look at who he is! Oh, he is Yang Ningkang. He is introducing his father. Now read the text in your group and guess the meaning of the words.学生在下面小组合作猜测新单词的意思,继而老师和学生一起找出答案。

3)How many hours did he spend in space? He spent about twenty-one hours in space.

4) What did he make in space? He made a video.

5) How old was his son in 2003? His son was eight years old.

6) Why was his son proud of him?

Because he was China’s first man in space. / Because he was very famous.

3. T: Listen to the tape for the third time and repeat the text. Then read loudly in groups. (设计意图:训练听力并纠正发音)

4. 小组内合作讨论问题,完成课文练习一,继而展示答案。

(设计意图:细读课文, 思考与课文内容联系密切的难度稍大的六个问题检查学生对材料的理解情况。)

5. Listen to a small essay and complete the blanks.

Step 4: Practice 记者见面会journalist meeting(教师先示范)

T: Can I ask you some questions?

小组练习后全班展示。组长模仿记者,组员模仿杨利伟,要求组长向杨利伟提问不同的问题。

Step 5: Homework and Summarize

1. T: After Shenzhou V ,another spaceship in China flew into space. Do you know which one?

Show a picture of Shenzhou VI (PPT).

Ss: Shenzhou VI.

T: Yes,this is Shenzhou VI.Who flew into space with Shenzhou VI?

Show photos of Fei Junlong and Nie Haisheng (PPT).

T: It’s Fei Junlong and Nie Haisheng.Now work in groups and talk about Shenzhou VI. Like this: In October 2005,Shenzhou VI flew into space with Fei Junlong and Nie Haisheng. They spent two days in space. They made a video about their space travel.

Two minutes later, I ask several students to tell the story of Shenzhou VI. If they can tell the story freely, I will give national flags to them.
