Section A 第1课时(1a~1c)

自主学习方案

1.自学生词,并记住拼读及拼写。

2.预习课本找出重点短语及句子。(见学案自学导练内容)

Step1 情景导入

Teacher:I went to Shenzhen last month,and this was my first time to go to the city. I couldn’t find a hotel,so I had to ask a policeman about the way to the hotel. Do you want to know how I asked the policeman for the way and the policeman how to answer my question?After learning this class,you will know the answers.

环节说明:由自己的亲身经历为学生设置悬念,激发学生的学习兴趣,符合学生的年龄特征。

Step 2完成教材1a_1c的任务

1.通过多媒体图片学习la中的单词,学生领读 la中的单词和词组,学生识记并且将地方名称和图中地方匹配。(5分钟)

2.听录音,圈出所听到la中的名词,师生共同核对答案。(3分钟)

3.学生两人一组,根据图片和提示,自编对话,注意角色交换。(4分钟)

l. There be结构的用法

(l)在大桥街有一警察局。 There is a police station on Bridge Street.

(2 )—中央大街上有一个邮局吗?

—没有

—Is there a post office on Center Street?

—No,there isn't.

【注意】There be结构意为There is/are„,其基本结构为There be +名词+地点,表示某个地方存在某一物体,there是引导词,be没有实际意义,be要随其后主语的单复数的不同而选用相应的形式。

There be结构有就近原则,即be要跟与它最近名词的数保持一致。

2.介词on的用法(表示地点时)

(1)There is a library Long Street.

A. to B.in C. at D. on

【解析】答案选D。在大街上要用介词on。

(2)he lives on the farm.(他住在农场)

【解析】答案选B。across和through两个介词 都有“穿过’’之意,用法不同。across和on有关,表示动作在某一物体的表面进行,表示“横穿/跨” through的含义与in有关,表示在某物体所在的空间内进行。本题有一定的空间概念,故用through。

1.The pay phone is in front of the library.付费电话在图书馆前面。

(1)本句属于“主语+be +介词短语”的主系表结构,用来表明某地/某人的位置。可以和therebe句型转换,说明位置关系。例如:

The supermarket is on Zhongshan Street.超市在中山大街上。=There is a supermarket on Zhongshan Street.中山大街上有一家超市。

(2)in front of表示“在 的前面”,其对应词behind意为“在„„的后面”。例如:

Tom is in front of me.汤姆在我的前面。

There is a car in front of the house.在房子前面有一辆小汽车。

辨析:in front of 与 in the front of

2.The pay phone is behind the library.付费电话在图书馆后面。

behind是介词,“在„„的背后;在„„的后面; 向„„的背后”,其后可接宾语。例如:

He came out from behind the door.他从门后出来。

There is a garden behind the house.屋后有个花园。

3.excuse me. „„劳驾。

该句是问路的常用句型。用英语问路时直接说Is there„?或Canyoutell me„?是不礼貌的。应当先说excuse me,意为“对不起;抱歉”。Excuse me. 对不起。/请原谅。/打扰一下。这是英语中使用特 别多的客套用语,还可以用于向对方提出请求、询问情况等场合,以向对方表示歉意或礼貌。它的意思可根据不同的情景理解为“劳驾”“请问”“请原谅”“对不起”等。具体用于以下几种情况:

①向陌生人问路时。

Excuse me. Where is the bus stop?劳驾,请问公共汽车站在哪儿?

②向别人询问情况时。

Excuse me. Are you Mr. Owen?请问,您是欧 先生吗?

③客气地请求(允许)时。

Excuse me. May I ask you a question?对不起,我可以问你一个问题吗?

4.It’s not too far from here.它离这儿不太远。

far from意为“离远”相当于far away from,通常不与具体数字连用,若出现具体数字,常用 away from。例如:

My home is not far (away) from our school.我的家离我们学校不远。

The station is two kilometers away from here. 车站离这儿有两千米远。
