The new term has begun! -

Time flies, time if shuttle! The beginning of this term I have risen a grade and have become junior college student, so I must make a study plan to improve myself .I will spend more time in studying English. and do my best to pass the English CET4.At first I must believe myself, it may be the most important.! -

Friday again. How time flies. Another week has gone. I got an e_mail this week

今天上午第一节课是我们的班主任老师教。我们班进行魔力考试。

考试开始了，我遇到了一道难题，我想写一个天文数字可这道题五分有怕丢去了，于是我就问我旁边的小李，小李是我们班上的学习委员。

这时小李真在聚精会神地思考问题。我探过头望一下小李的卷子，可是没想到小李说了一声考试看别人的是不对的行为，这时我的脸火辣辣地。我想他一定会告诉老师.。

可我没想到的是小李并没告诉老师，而是他给了我一次回改的机会，第二节下课了我去问小李你怎么不告诉老师，小李这时给我讲了一大堆的道理。

第二天老师抱着卷子来到教师把我们的成绩公布了，这时我和我班的同学的分一样，这分关系到第二名的名次了。这时我把我作弊的事情告诉了老师，这时老师说：“知错就改就是好事了，”老师到班上没有批评我倒还白杨了我诚实的事情。

我希望大家考试不要作弊，你不说你就会感到不安吧？

顽皮的弟弟

今天早上，我二姨和他顽皮的儿子来到了我家做客，我哪顽皮的弟弟首先就是找我陪他玩，你如果让他不高兴你就会被他整的不成人行他就有这么厉害，他有2个绝招，第一个绝招是恶作剧，第二个绝招是把你的书本扔到水里去洗个燥，真叫人脑疼，你如果这么想就会消消气，你就想他年纪太小不懂事。

有一次我让他不高兴了，他就在门高上放了一袋面粉想整我，哪时我一边走一边认真看书正走进门口就变成了一个雪人，这时弟弟哈哈大笑起来，这时我的怒火慢慢地燃烧起来，这时弟弟泼了我一生水把我的怒火熄灭了，弟弟这时说我是个落汤鸡，这时我为他高兴，因为他可以用我教他的成语了，这件事我刨到了九霄云外了，还有一次我正在洗澡，弟弟从外面带来了几个女生到我家，弟弟跟这些女生说：“我给你看样东西，”弟弟于是就把门打看了，几个女生看到了我的身体，可我早就知道他会用这招我就在门上放了一桶水，他一打开门就变成了一只落汤鸡了几个女生忍不住就笑了起来这时我让他尝到了被人整的滋味，弟弟于是告诉了我妈妈，还被我被妈妈骂了一顿。

从此弟弟变成不爱整人了，变成了有教养的好孩子了。

我的MP3

自从我的表姐有的一台MP3后,不知怎么的,我就有一种想有MP3的强烈欲望,一天放学,我不由自主地说出自己想要MP3的想法。没想到,心想事成—----我有MP3了!

我的MP3是银白色的,长方形,大小像个火柴盒,厚度还不到火柴盒的三分之一，它可以像手机一样充电,不必带上电池就能使用。可录音,可复读,可保存六七十首歌曲,甚至能像收音机一样收听频道节目,再配上一副高级黑色耳机,精致极了!

当我得到这台小巧的MP3时,我不禁高兴得跳了起来！我的MP3不仅外形精巧，而且音色优美，听起歌来清晰得像听现场演唱,丝毫没有沙哑！

一拿到这台MP3, 我就爱不释手,像对待珠宝一样地对待它。一有时间就听歌和下载歌曲,看书听,做完作业听,放假时听……一会儿下载这首歌曲,一会儿下载那首歌曲, 几乎天天都能看到我在摆弄它,这台MP3给我带来的欢乐是不言而喻的。

今天,科技快速发展，从以前的收音机到现在的MP3,从飞机到飞船,从……我相信,明天的科技用品会更好！

可爱的小虾

在我房子的前面有一条小河，小河的水很清。河里生活着许多小鱼和小虾，它们真可爱。

我非常喜欢小虾。虾的样子像条船，头部长着一对长长的触须，触须可以改变小虾的游泳方向，它有一对灯笼似的小眼睛，有小虾的眼睛是白色的、有的是蓝色的、有的是黑色的、有的是绿色的，样子非常可爱。它身子的颜色也是各不相同的，有绿色、土黄色、有白色、还有蓝色的。小虾的尾巴像扇子一样，它的作用可大了，让虾游泳时保持平衡；它有8只脚呢！小虾游的时候就用这些须脚来划水。

我常常到河里捞虾，放虾到小煮锅里煮，它的颜色一下子就变红了，不再像平时一样欢蹦乱跳了，而是一动不动的。我的眼泪渐渐流了下来。虾煮熟了，一阵香味扑鼻而来，简直要让你流口水，虾真好吃啊！ 我长大以后一定要养许许多多让人欣赏的虾。

People say that the American emergency number is 911, so the terror is ts chose September 11 to attack America. there was a big typhoon on July 11 th is year in Taiwan. It’s name was Toraji. Many cities were flooded. Some people died because of landslides. these dates all th is "one" number. I really don’t think "one" is a good or lucky number. （1)My Happiest Day

Today is Friday. It is my thirteenth birthday. I got up very early in the morning and put on my new clothes happily. My parents bought me the new clothes as my birthday presents. I went to school earlier than before. I invited many of my classmates to come to my birthday party in the evening.

Evening came at last. Many of my classmate came to my home. they bought me lots of beautiful presents. they all said,"Happy birthday to you!" We sang birthday songs happily.then my parents brought out a big birthday cake, saying, "We love you for ever. Happy birthday!"

At the end of the party, we ate the birthday cake and some other delicious food. How happy I was!

(2)Let’s Repair It Together!

It was Monday. I got up very early and was the first to come to the classroom. When I came to my desk and was going to sit down, I found my chair was broken. What could I do? At that

time no one was around. I quickly changed my chair with Li Ming’s and sat down to read the book as if nothing had happened.

My classmates came in one after another. After a while, Li Ming came. When he found

his chair was broken, he tried to repair it. I didn’t say a word but my face turned red. Soon I ran to the teacher’s office and brought back a hammer. I said to I.i Ming, "Let’s repair it together."

(3) An Unforgettable Holiday

I am ’always busy with my lessons. What I have to do everyday is nothing but study.

Luckily, last summer my family went to my uncle’s farm.We enjoyed a really interesting holiday. During the holiday, I didn’t have to get up early, nor did I need to finish many exercises. I rode the horse in the fields. I milked the cows on the farm. To my GREat joy, my uncle invited me to go fishing. Life on the farm is quite different from that at school. I want to go back to spend my summer holiday again.

(4) A Day to Remember

It was Sunday. Our teacher Mr Zhu led us to a park nearby.Usually we go to the park to spend our holiday. But today we went there to take part in voluntary labour.

We got there at nine o’clock. Mr Zhu divided us into three groups and then we began working.

the students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. the studentsin Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourist. they also cleaned the benches in the park. I was in Group Three. We went to the children’s playground and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard.

At about eleven we finished working. We met at the gate of the park. We all felt tired but very happy.

(5) A Sunset

the sunset is very beautiful and lovely. Its scene is as wonderful as a sunrise but it is even more beautiful to watch it in the country than in the city.

When the sun begins to set behind the mountains, its long rays light up the GREen fields. the clouds in the sky also begin to glow with a golden light, and the mountains are really colourful.

When the sun begins to set behind the mountain, it looks like a red ball. Its light fills the sky and changes the colour of the clouds from gold to red. When the sun is gone altogether behind the mountain, the clouds turn GREy and the mountains become

难忘的第一次！也许你会说道：“第一次我有好多好多。”天上璀璨、耀眼的明珠在耀眼的发光，“忽闪—忽闪，”我的第一次也在发光，但发黑的第一次还是我五岁的时候，一个人在家的经历。

我自小就怕鬼，可仅能让别人看到你的缺点？幼儿园我可是优秀的好学生，他们都叫我十全十美小孩。可是狐狸总会露出尾巴吧？这一天晚上，狐狸尾巴就露了出来。 “唐嫣，爸爸妈妈去上班了，别人敲门可别开哦！”“好的，你们放心走吧！”我说完，爸爸妈妈才放心地走了。门啪的一声关了，好像关得死死的。这，怎么办？我先环顾了四周，似乎没有什么可疑现象，于是我壮着熊心豹子胆走过去开了电视，为了不让脑海里浮现出鬼的样子，我把声音调到最大，眼睛也瞪得圆溜溜的，手里捏出一把汗。“嗖—嗖”，阳台吹来一阵凉风，我往阳台一瞪，“啊！那太可怕了，那是什么？”我忍不住尖叫起来，立马钻进被子里，过了许久，我把头慢慢地探出来，想呼吸一下新鲜空气，结果又看到了那吓人的鬼，但没那么吓人了。于是有一种欲望指示着我，让我去看看，我握紧拳头，鼓足了勇气，大胆的从沙发上站起，我的心里充满了恐惧，我仿佛听到了加速的心跳声，“怦怦”，我像一颗璀璨的明珠，光明时亮得耀眼，昏暗时黑的发抖。下意识的那一瞬间，欲望消失了，立马坐到了沙发上，然后继续回到了我的被窝里，过了好一会，我又掀开了被子，没作声地爬到了窗帘后面，然后慢慢地掀开了窗帘，一掀开，恍然大悟啊！哪是鬼啊，是我妈妈最爱洗的“小窝”，我脸沉了下了，从沙发上走了下来，脚尖一掂起，晃晃忽忽地飘过去，在随着风摇摆的“小窝”前停了下来，责骂道：“该死的！你可真会吓人，真的想打死你。”

那天晚上的经历现在想起来都好笑，第一次的经历有时是在发光，有时是在发黑，它们是在记忆中抹不掉的。

周记

今天，我们迎来了开学第一周的结束，虽然是第一周，但是在这一周里，却发生了许多难忘的事情。给我印象最深的就是星期四的时候班主任朱老师把我的手机没收了。

因为在开学前老师说尽量不要拿智能手机，所以妈妈在开学前一天特地去给我买了个老年人手机。可当我到了学校后，发现大家都用的是智能手机，于是我回家便也要求把手机换回来。

到了星期四，我终于如愿以偿地把手机换了回来，高高兴兴地去上了学校。可是在八点的时候手机突然响了起来，我刚听到这个声音时吓了一大跳，过了一小会儿，我在心里祈祷着：“千万不要是我的……千万不要是我的……”可当我继续听下去时我发现这就是我的手机的报天气的声音。可当时我还是不信，以为别人的手机声和我的一样，于是把手机拿出来看了一眼，发现真的是我的，“怎么办……怎么办……”我在心里想着。可是已经没有那么多的时间供我思考了，最后，没有办法，我只好将手机交给了朱老师。

下课后，我去问同学怎样才能要回手机，可是同学说要让家长来要。我的心里又颤了一颤，这可怎么跟妈妈说呢？

回到家后，我把这一切都对妈妈说了，可妈妈却说：“这是你自己把它弄出声音的，开始时我不让你换，你看同学用就眼馋，非要换，现在出事了，别来找我，再说了，你的那些软件也是你自己下的，跟你说了别下那么多软件，你不听，现在好了吧？被老师没收了吧？你自己去要吧，我肯定不管！”听完这句话，我立刻对妈妈说：

“可是你要是不去要，手机可能就‘充公’了！”“那我也不管，谁让你非要拿的。”看来，要拿回手机就必须靠我自己了，那我就去试试吧。

因为有同学说朱老师把没收的另外两个女同学的手机都还回去了，就是我的没给我，所以，第二天加餐时间，我问朱老师什么时候能把手机拿回来，老师说第四节课下课后到她的办公室去拿。我十分珍惜这个机会，一下第四节课我就去找英语办公室在哪里，在快上课时，我终于找到了，但是我却徘徊在门外迟迟不敢进去，怕老师会不给我，但是我又想，如果不去的话就更不可能要回来了，所以我想了又想，终于喊了声：“报告”。进到办公室后，老师把手机还给了我，并且告诉我下次要是再有这种事，就要叫家长来取了，我可不想让我的手机“充公”，所以我下次到校前后都要检查手机是否关好机了，以免这样的悲剧再次发生。

这件事情不仅让我记住了要检查手机是否关机，还教会了我做任何事情时都要认真、细致、严谨，否则就会发生一些不想发生以及不愿见到的事情。

本学期我担任七年级2班和5班的英语。在新学期开始，我做了如下教学计划。

（一）要求掌握的知识和技能：

(一)学生情况分析

1.学习水平不均

有的学生对小学英语比较重视，学得很好，基本上可以很快进入初一的英语

学习，但有的学生或学校不重视，学得很不好，特别是教学点上的学校，还有几

个甚至完全没有学过。因此，整个班级的英语水平很不平衡，给日常教学带来诸

多的不便，提高了难度。

2.学习习惯不好

学生刚刚从小学进入初中，处于一个衔接的阶段，学习任务加重，学习的习

惯可能不是很好，没有形成一定的适合自己的方法，或者以前的学习方法不再适

合初中繁复的学习，所以学习方法都还有待改善。

总之，既要避免优秀生不够学的现象，又要努力把目前英语有欠缺的学生拉

上去，激发他们的兴趣和信心，赶上中上的水平学生。在今后的教学中应该注重

培养、激发兴趣，教给学生适当的学习的方法，从学生的学习兴趣、学习能力、

生活经验和认知水平出发，倡导体验、实践、参与与交流的学习方式和任务型的

教学途径，发展学生的综合语言运用能力，使语言的学习过程成为学生形成积极

的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成学生自主学习能力的

过程，这是新课标和新目标英语的要求。

(二).教材分析

套初一教材共分8个单元，每单元有6课，在加一复习课。

二. 教学内容

1.总体上：这学期一共要完成8个单元。

2.知识方面：

短语：154词组

语音：48个音素，其中20个元音，28 个辅音。(见GO FOR IT 教材第90 页。)

3.技能：.

技能包括听说读写，这四个方面的内容。听的方面：教材上的听力材料和一

些教师适当的增加或改版的听力材料。说的方面：围绕教材上的三个预备单元和

十二个正式单元的话题和内容来进行说。读的方面：树上的单词，短语，对话，

文章和一些教师和学生之间的互动的语言材料。写的方面：首先从围绕教材提供

的单词，短语，对话，话题展开，然后逐步的以文章中心出发，发表学生的个人

看法或观点，这样学生就从教师的完全控制，半控制，走向非控制，有利于教学

和学生自己的思维发展。

4.综合能力：

在教师的指导下，学生从刚开始简单的音素，字母，单词，短语，句子，文章，

最终走向学生自己能用英语思维，用英语解决实际生活中的问题。即：学生用自

己所学知识在现实生活中能做一些事情，由课堂走向生活。

三.教学模式：

采用学生主体，教师主导，任务中心，活动载体的任务型语言教学的套路。

四.教学管理措施：

初一年级是英语学习的基础阶段,也是最为关键时期。基础打不好，直接影响

学生整个初中阶段，乃至高中、大学 ，以后的英语学习。所以做好初一英语的

教学工作至关重要。对此我制定了以下措施：

(一) 注重发音教学，加强语音教学的趣味性。利用直观教具和教学辅助媒体，

激发爱好，增加容量，整体优化课堂教学。

(二) 以旧引新，重视中小学英语知识之间联系

(三) 在导入新课中教学词汇。为了巩固，每日进行单词竞赛，值日报告，学唱

英文歌曲等。

(四) 重视后进生的培养。多与差生沟通，帮助他们克服自卑，增强信心，利用

课余时间辅导其学习。

(五) 教学上和生活中注意因材施教，做到“一视同仁”关心差生，对其循循善诱，

耐心教育。

(六) 团结协作，共同进步。教师之间互相学习，勤学好问，做好初一年级的教

学工作。

(七) 课堂纪律：像学生在课堂上讲话，睡觉等，我会采取作为朋友的方式的提

醒，在必要时会给予适当的批评。

(八) 作业处理：会根据学生自身的情况，给于适当的惩奖，对于做的好的学生

会当全班面给予口头表扬;给于做的不好的学生，前三次会当全班面进行侧面的

提醒，不直接进行点名; 对于不做的学生，会单独问他没有做作业是不是有其他

原因，一切以朋友的角度进行处理。

(九) 考试：整个学期一共要做4到5个测试，是以几个单元为单元，在每次考

试后，都会进行分析，当然是要根据学生的考试情况做分析，比如，很多同学错

的是那些知识点，从学生实际掌握的角度出发，进行分析，讲解。(十)沟通：要

每个月的与家长和学生进行沟通，也要让家长和学生之间进行定时的沟通。与家

长之间可以采用电话沟通，家访，以及家长到学校。于学生之间可以采用单独谈

话，在作业批改的后面写上一些话。

七年级第一学期班主任工作计划

一、 班级概况：

七年级（2）班现有学生42人，其中女生23人，男生19人住校生21人。入学

以来，我班大部分学生能够做到讲文明，懂礼貌，对他人宽容，愿意与他人合作，

能很好地适应学校环境，学习态度端正，学习习惯好。但班里仍有个别学生没有

养成积极的学习态度和良好的学习习惯、卫生习惯，自理能力较弱，不能自觉学

习。针对此,在本学期，我要有针对性的制定了班主任工作计划。

二、 管理目标：

我们的班训：每天进步一点点

1、学习上：认真，踏实，稳步上升 。

2、思想上：学会关爱他人，培养正确的明辨是非能力。

四、具体措施：

（一）思想教育：

1、充分利用班会对学生进行思想教育，强调安全。

2、利用班会对学生进行思想教育，从小事做起，学会爱老师，爱父母，爱同学。

3、充分利用家校本、班网、飞信以及家长个人信箱等多种沟通渠道，有针对性

的及时与家长交流孩子思想状况，形成家校合力，及时调整鼓励学生思想上进，

实现共同的教育目标。

4、每月开一次小干部会，帮助小干部学生尽快适应管理工作，学习对问题及时

解决，并引导小干部积极工作，快乐工作，高效工作。

5、在关心集体、完成作业、作业工整、遵守纪律、积极发言、保持卫生、坚持

阅读、仪容坐姿等方面展开班级竞争，形成班级积极的学习氛围，建立良好班风。

6、加强班级学生文明素养的教育，从细节入手，引导学生做知礼守礼的文明学

生。

（二）学习要求：

1、狠抓作业书写以及读写姿势，进行“完成作业小明星”、“作业工整小明星”和“仪

容坐姿小明星”评选。（期末发奖状）

2、上课比发言，进行“积极发言小明星评选”。（期末发奖状）

3、 开展优秀小队评比，增强学生良性竞争意识，提升学生集体荣誉感。月总结

发奖，期末进行“标兵队”命名。

4、加强作文训练，每周写周记，每两周写书中要求作文。

5、开展“课外阅读小明星”评比，建立读书档案，月总结发奖，期末反馈给家长。

6、每天坚持听写，加强基础知识训练。

（三）纪律要求：

1、做好晨检、午检、大课间、两操、放学排队、卫生、班会等班级日常管理及

评比工作。

2、充分利用座位滚动制，关注每一名学生，尤其是坐不住学生的纪律表现。

3、密切与科任教师的联系，开展 “遵守纪律小明星”评选活动，日查、周评、月

总结。（期末发奖状）

（四）劳动要求：

1、训练学生做到桌面净、抽屉净、地面净，正确使用两块抹布。教育学生每天

自己打扫个人卫生区。

2、每天由劳动小队长负责督促小组认真打扫班级卫生。

3、课间，由劳动委员负责检查评比班级各人及各小队卫生。

4、每周一全班查个人卫生。

（五）参加活动：

除积极参加学校组织的各项活动外，对于本班每个项目有特色的活动一定是有

组织，有评比，有小结，鼓励学生重在参与，积极地对待各项活动。

Feelings of Wuhan University

At the first sight of Wuhan University, a feeling of pride went through my mind. Yes, seeing such a big and beautiful campus with Luojia Mountain standing inside it, there is no reason for every student not to be happy, a feeling welled up from heart.

After a few days’ walking inside campus with my two high school classmates when this term just has begun, I was absolutely attracted by the beautiful scenery and its long history and culture. Sometimes I really want to yell out, with arms open, speaking : I love Wuhan University. As I Know, she is pretty all years around.

In Spring, when cherry flowers enjoy blooming, thousands of tourists from everywhere will pour into campus just to have a look at the beauty and enjoy this unforgettable moment. To be true, I really hope spring comes quickly, for I have not see cherry flowers before. And with summer walking to us, lotus will bloom in the Star Lake. Though hot as the weather is, you will not feel uncomfortable much with so many trees covering campus. In autumn, it is really a enjoyment walking in the alley, with a fragrance from daphne odera flowing in the air and

maple leaves falling from trees which just flew past your body. Although it is cold in winter here, however, after snowing, she is really beautiful wearing white clothes especially for me, someone from southeast of China, where there is no snow all year round.

I love Wuhan University, a pretty girl.

College Life

Sometimes I try to write an article of college life, but I fear that I do not have this qualification to talk about college life, just as a student who have spent only half a year in college. But on second thoughts, every student has his right to freedom of opinion, just ignoring others’ comments. And after three months’ life in Wuhan University, I really want to say something about my life.

When I came to Wuhan at the beginning of this term, I must say, though I have been an accommodated student for six years since I entered middle school, I did not adapt well. As we know, when you are away from your hometown at the first time, you must arrange everything yourself and do it yourself. Having experienced six years’ accommodation, I am not homesick like many other students who

tried to thrust back the little stabs of homesickness. I have spent almost two months to adapt this busy life, which I used to think to be leisure and carefree. As a commissary in charge of studies, a member of Student Union and a member of Youth Volunteer Association, I have never been so busy before. Sometimes I really want to give up and live my life happily and leisurely just like others. But later I was used to spending my time like this. And I began to think it as a kind of happiness. Yes, I like to be busy.

When I heard the birdcall in the strings of wild geese winging south against a bleak, autumn sky; when I walked in the road suddenly feeling a great volume of sound which made me cough, I know how time flies fast. And when I turned back, suddenly half a year has passed.

Sleep

I want to sleep—a voice always in my ears.

Sleep is a part of a person’s daily cycle. However, sometimes I have to stay up all night to finish my task, though I am not willing to do so. It is known to us all that it does harm to our bodies. Maybe we are feeling well now because we are young and full of energy; we will feel uncomfortable in our years to come. Yes, many students do

know those, but they still live such a life just like me.

Sometimes I really want to make a change: I used to make up my mind to change my terrible lifestyle many times but failed. Usually at first I could persist in sleeping early and getting up early, but after a few days I gave up for many reasons such as cold weather or so. This bad lifestyle cause me to be asleep in class frequently, leading my inefficient learning. What is worse, there is not much time available for me to study just because of too many activities. I was at a loss when I saw my math score, I want to yell out to release gloom.

Sleep, I love you so much, but you hurt me so deeply.

Gratitude

After hearing a speech about gratitude in a coincidence, I was deeply moved and just want to write something.

On college campuses across the nation, there is a noticeable phenomenon that we cannot afford to ignore: far too many young college students lack the sense of gratitude, one of the countless traditional virtues of this ancient land with a splendid civilation spanning over 5000 years. These young adults were not and are not aware of the huge importance of expressing gratitude to those who

once helped them, from teachers to parents and so forth.

Gratitude is the feeling of being grateful, and the act of showing appreciation for every act of kindness, big or small, that others do for us. It can be expressed by a large, dramatic gesture or it can be shown in a small way, like finding a way original and personal way to say thanks for a friend’s gift. Personally, I really want to hug everyone I know and say to him: thank you. We should first express our gratitude to our parents, for everything they bring to us; We should then express our gratitude to our teachers, for what they have teached; We should express our gratitude to our friends, for the hours they spend with us. It is a luxury to own so many friends.

Thank god for he gives us so much.

Tuesday, July 5th - Sunny

(The) “Walkman” is more and more popular among (the) students. I have (had) one. It’s very small and thin. The colour is grey. Like a tape recorder, it has a few keys.

It is very easy to use, but you have to remember to put on the earphones. While you listen, the sound is very clear. When I listen to the tape of English songs, it’s so great. It seems I am at the concert.

Before I used the Walkman to listen to music I felt the English words couldn’t come to my ears. Now the words are very clear. I am happy because I can hear so well.

Wednesday, July 6th - Sunny

Thursday, 7th - Windy

Some of my classmates think we are busy with our lesson every day, so we shouldn’t do any housework. But I think we should do some housework because our parents are also busy and tired after the work. They care of us, and we should also (take) care of them.

Last night, I had an interesting dream. In the dream I accidentally got a magic pen with which I could write beautiful Chinese characters. Then I took part in a calligraphy competition. With the help of the pen I got the first place. I (soon) became famous (soon) and a lot of people came to beg me for some characters. I felt very proud of myself. But when I picked the pen up and wrote down a character, I found it very ugly. The pen no longer had magic. I was frightened into (a) cold sweat. Seeing this, people understood what was happening. They all laughed at me and said that I was a cheat. I tried to find some place to hide but couldn’t find any. Then (I was scared awoken) (I woke up scared(?)). Saturday, July 9th - Sunny

We know it is difficult to learn English. My English is very good. I learn English like this.

I listen to the teacher carefully and write the important points down on my notebooks. After class I revise the lessons. Before class I prepare new lessons to find out the questions.(?) Then I will listen carefully in class. I also listen to the tape, and speak English with my classmates in the classroom and on the playground; it’s to improve my listening and speaking.

I keep a diary every day to practice my written English.

Sunday, July 10th - Cloudy

Money is necessary in our life. We will have a rich life when we have (much) (plenty of) money.

Most of people think we can do anything if we have money. I don’t think so. Some people aren’t happy though they have (much) (a lot of) money, because their money is obtained by unjust means. They always live a frightened life. Money often makes people do bad things, even illegal activities.

We must make money and spend it in a reasonable way. We will be happy.
