看着这些熟悉的数字我的心是如此的沉重和苦涩

2013年4月20日早晨8点02分，当我们还在熟睡之际，梦想人生之时，雅安却发生了大地震，我们被这残酷的灾难所震醒，心被这残酷的灾难所震颤，在这天灾发生的一刻，我想到了那次汶川地震。它就像噩梦一样留在我们心中永远挥之不去。

那一次，四川汶川县发生了里氏八点零级地震，全国大半地区都有明显震感。它给人们和国家造成了严重的生命和财产损失。说它是大地震，是因为它比我们都知道的唐山地震还要严重，余震异常频繁，是新中国成立以来，一次史无前例的大灾难！

然而，在这如此恐怖的灾难面前，我们的中国子民没有退缩，我们一起手挽手去挑战地震----这个张牙舞爪的恶魔。

“一方有难，八方支援。众志成城，抗震救灾。”不错，当大地震发生后，全国乃至全世界都举行了捐款捐物捐衣捐水活动，各国人民也纷纷解囊相助，用爱心来为灾区人民营造幸福乐园。

两次地震给四川人民带来流离失所的悲痛，同时也体现了众多人

们伟大的人格，在灾难降临的时候，四川人民没有退缩，中国人民没有退缩，他们抛弃了个人的一切，甚至写下遗书奔赴抗震救灾第一线。国家领导人不惜一切代价抢救灾情，为灾区人民送去温暖和希望。温家宝总理李克强总理在第一时间赶到了抗灾第一线，向灾区人民嘘寒问暖，表达了党中央对他们的爱护及关心。总理们在抗震前线吃的是馒头榨菜，每时每刻都往返在各个救灾帐篷之间„„

社会的各界仁人志士同样也为抗震救灾做出了很大贡献。他们有的是从全国各地赶来的志愿者，有的是没有遇难的本地人，有的则是来四川探亲的„„他们也许失去了亲人，也许没有了家园，但是他们没有时间去过多悲痛，而是化悲伤为力量，为了灾区人民夜以继日地奔波着忙碌着。还有那些最可爱的官兵战士们，为了多救出一个灾民，为了早一分钟让灾民脱离危险，他们置自己的生死于不顾，和时间赛跑，和余震斗争，多么可爱的人啊，我们向他们致敬！在这块被灾难和阴霾笼罩的土地上，每一分每一秒都在回荡着一组组爱的交响乐！

用我们的爱心和行动，谱写出我们众志成城的一个好日子。 阳光会灿烂，月亮会微笑，孩子的眼睛会被水灵灵的希望擦亮。 我们手牵手，用一种不屈的精神一起去迎接美好的明天！ 我们手牵手，用一种伟岸的气魄一起去迎接美好的明天！

人类将永远铭记历史的这一刻----公元2008年5月12日,北纬31度,东经103.4度,北京时间14时28分,一场8.0级的强烈地震,突然袭击了中国西部的四川省汶川县,强大的地震波震动全川,摇撼中国,在瞬间夺去了成千上万人的生命。自1976年唐山大地震以来,中国遭受的伤亡最重的自然灾害,举世为之震惊。

截止昨天（16）下午14点，汶川地震死亡人数已超过22069人，受伤168669人以上；彭州全市80万人口中有40多万受灾，10万人被困山中，死伤人数还难以确切统计；多么让中国人辛酸的数字!汶川县现在有九万多人被掩埋,暴雨仍然在下,余震也不时地袭击,塌方,泥石流.....他们没有食物,他们伤痕累累！

多少个瓦砾下的幸存者正在用血红的双眼期待着地震救援队的拯救！然我们处安全地带,但和所有中国人一样,时刻关注着灾情,虽然我们不能同灾区的同胞们并肩作战，但我们时刻与灾区人民同在,时刻为灾区人民祈福！希望每个人平平安安,健健康康,早日渡过难关!在灾情到来的时候，越是在危难时刻，中华民族就越团结，越坚强!越是在危难时刻，我们就越需要镇定，信心，勇气和爱心。我们中国人的心是紧紧连在一起的，这一天,我们都是汶川人!看到全民抗灾的感人场面,我们都会被深深地被感动了!

清风徐来，红日升起，雄壮激越的国歌旋律在校园的高空飘扬的时候，同学们，你有没有感受到这是多么幸福安宁的生活？你有没有为此对这份幸福充满感恩？这些日子，我是如此强烈地感受到了这些，但是我还想到了同一蓝天下却承受着巨大的痛苦的我们的四川同胞们，他们遭遇到毁灭性的人生浩劫，正经受着的家破人亡的悲伤，正面临着大片大片废墟的茫然无措。。。

真相是如此残酷，了解真相更是令人痛苦。但是，哪一个黑头发黄皮肤的的中国人不突然放下手头的工作泪眼婆娑地盯着新闻里一个又一个关于同胞们受灾的镜头，哪一个流着中国血喝着黄河水的中国人不倾耳收听抗震救灾的行动？

下面，我想就我所了解的四川地震的有关情况为大家作个具体的介绍。

北京时间5月12日14时28分，在四川汶川县(北纬31度，东经103.4度)发生7.8级地震。包括北京在内的近半个中国都有震感。此次四川地震震级高，又属浅源性地震，释放能量剧烈，给当地民众生命财产造成巨大的伤害和损失。

城镇村庄，医院银行工厂学校家园等顷刻间倒塌，甚至粉碎性地被摧垮，而正在工作的人们，正在午休的人们，正在编织着美好理想的人们瞬间被倾斜钢筋水泥板砖瓦等灰色灾难所覆盖。据新华社快讯：截至１７日１４时，汶川地震已造成２８８８１人死亡，伤病１９８３４７人，倒塌房屋３１２．８万间，损坏房屋１５６０．９万间。

学校的受灾情况非常严重：雅安地带受灾学校492处，倒塌教室307间，目前学校停课。北川老县城幼儿园、中小学校、职业学校学生伤亡严重。其中北川中学共有两栋教学楼，老教学楼全部坍塌，新教学楼一二楼也已坍塌，3楼以上的学生得以在废墟上逃生，但一二楼的学生全被掩埋在废墟底下。

面对突然降临的天灾，我们的祖国，我们的党，我们的领导，我们五十六个民族的兄弟姐妹没有旁观，没有沉默，而是以各自的方式与相同的爱开始了抗灾——

据新华网5月13日电地震发生后，中共中央总书记胡锦涛心系灾情，立即作出重要指示，要求尽快抢救伤员，确保证灾区人民群众生命安全。16日到四川后，他就驱车赶赴受灾严重的绵阳市北川羌族自治县，看望慰问受灾群众，指

导抗震救灾工作。

国务院总理温家宝亲赴四川地震灾区，现场指挥抗震救灾工作。于12日晚上11点40分在地震灾区都江堰临时搭起的帐篷内召开国务院抗震救灾指挥部会议，分析当前抗震救灾形势，部署下一步抗震救灾工作。5月14日，总理抵达地震重灾区四川北川县察看灾情。总理在15日晚在列车上召开国务院抗震救灾指挥部会议时说，抗震救灾工作是关系全国、关系全局的大事，必须举全国之力，才能把这项工作做好。

我们的好总理面对着四川人民的受灾几度哽咽甚至泪流满面，为了让将受灾程度减少到最低限度，他向部队下达指示说：“我就一句话，是人民在养你们，你们自己看着办。”当他温家宝听闻彭州10万群众被堵山中时说：我只要这10万群众脱险，这是命令！”当他得知通往灾区的路段严重受损无法使车辆通过他要求部队步行也要赴重灾区时说：“千方百计进去，时间越早越好，早一秒钟就可能救活一个人。”他在视察路上不断鼓舞救援人员的信心说：

“要不断努力把他们救出来，不惜采取任何手段，不惜任何代价。”“房子裂了、塌了，我们还可以再修。只要人在，

我们就一定能够渡过难关，战胜这场重大自然灾害。”“只要有一线希望，我们就尽百倍努力，绝不会放松。”看到被救出的孩子他绠咽着说：“你别哭。政府会管你们的。管你们生活，管你们学习。”

这是我们英明的领袖，他们一直和灾区的人民在一起面对灾情的伟大之举。

四川汶川地震发生后，中国地震局立即启动一级预案。由中国地震局12人、北京军区某部工兵团150人和武警总医院22人组成的国家地震灾害紧急救援队陆续奔赴汶川灾区，负责搜索、营救和医疗救护任务；根据《国家自然灾害救助应急预案》，国家减灾委紧急启动国家一级救灾应急响应，并组成救灾工作组即赴四川汶川灾区，协助指导抗震救灾工作。民政部紧急调拨数万顶救灾帐篷以及其它救灾物资支援灾区；解放军总参谋部立即发出指示，要求成都军区、空军和武警部队坚决贯彻胡锦涛主席的重要指示，迅速组织灾区驻军全力投入抗震救灾，尽快抢救伤员，保证灾区人民生命安全，最大限度减少损失。总参谋部立即启动应急预案。成都军区紧急出动6100余名官兵赶赴灾区参加抗震救灾；四川各方面紧急行动起来，展开救灾工作。其他相关省份和中央有关部门也立即展开了相应工作。

社会各界，各个集团也纷纷投入了具体的救援行动，有的组织志愿小组奔赴灾区参加力所能及的救援行动，有的自发前往灾区帮助寻找和救助废墟里的灾民，有的捐献大量的食物，有的捐献大量的药物，而最让我们感动的是无论是事业单位还是企业集团，无论是街头还是网络，我们几乎都使用了同一种方式表达了我们对灾区同胞的祝福和帮助：那就是捐款。

著名古文字学家、历史学家、作家，今年已经九十五岁的季羡林老先生流着老泪捐出了二十万元希望能帮助修缮受灾校舍；一位九岁的孩子拿出积攒下来的两千元压岁钱捐给灾区的小朋友；晨讯科技集团董事长王祖同杨文瑛夫妇捐出一千万，一代的实力派巨星成龙和杨受成共同捐款一千万，四大天王之一的刘徳华向红十字会悄悄捐款五千零一十万，著名的篮球运动员姚明也捐出了两百万，我们的本山大叔也慷慨捐出100万，央视主持人李咏叔叔也捐出了自己的心意20万。。。

Good morning,ladies and gentlemen.The topic of my speech today is “Terror of Earthquakes”.

On Mar 11th,2011,a devastating 9 magnitude earthquake rocked Japan,left the whole country an unbelievable mess.Almost an hour later,such great earthquake triggered tsunami that swept the nation.A large number of buildings were damaged;electricities were cut off;countless people were missing.The whole country was in total dark.Ladies and gentlemen,we can imagine how terrible it is!Well,earthquakes are not unfamiliar to us.Recently years,we human beings witnessed a series of earthquakes that caused severe aftermath,both to our human beings and to homeland.

When it comes to earthquakes,most of us may show great terror.Some people think it’s difficult to predict earthquakes so we can’t take precaution.Also,some hold that we hardly have enough time to escape when an earthquake happens.In a word,earthquakes are full of terror in their minds.Indeed,earthquakes are extremely terrible.People will suffer much both physically and mentally;the nation will suffer great losses.Then ,are we going to leave our buildings devastated without doing anything?Are we going to let more

and more people lose their hourses without offering help?Are we going to wait and see the real “2012” happens without making efforts?No,we aren’t.

Well,it’s true that we can’t control earthquakes.Needless to say,we have inability of controlling nature,but we still can reduce our losses.We can establish special forces so that rescue workers are able to respond effectively to emergency situations. We can still find ways to trace earthquakes beforehand,though natural disasters are unpredicatable.In addition,good instruments are needed to detect any sign of emergency.We have seen the power of radiation in Japan,so we should reconsider the protection of nuclear facilitions.Above all,each of us should improve the awareness of protection.When we are in that situation,we have to be calm.Ladies and gentlemen,no precaution is ever wasted.

So ladies and getlemen,earthquakes are terrible,but we can transform the so-called terror into efforts to make our world a superior place to live in.Terror won’t terrify us anymore as long as we take action from now on.

Many Chinese spent the agonizing week following news on TV, on net, or glancing over newspapers and on public transport during rush hours. Even strangers exchanged information on the updated death toll and the latest outcome of rescue missions; cheered for every survival narrowly escaping hell; mourned each new death; and prayed for the strong lives still trapped in the debris. But hope is dimming as time is running out. So many people lost their lives in a flash, so many happy family become destitute and homeless far and near, so many buildings collapsed without any hesitate, the earth cracked, and even worse, it rained while others try to rescue them…I can not image how sad a child will be that she or he turn out to be orphan after this earthquake.Or the old lost all her offspring in this earthquake.People begin to wonder what they can do to help those who are still suffering.

"What else can I do?" has been the question on everyone's mind since the deadly quake hit Sichuan Province.

After all, only a few warm-hearted volunteers could access "the front lines of combating disaster" considering the complicated conditions and fear of potential calamity. People can be seen everywhere lining up to make

donations. In many cities, blood banks have been reported up to saturation; and volunteers wishing to donate blood have to register and wait for to be notified. More and more people are eager to be involved in the rescue and relief work that they are becoming unsatisfied with the disaster-relief efforts made outside of the quake-ravaged areas; and volunteers are descending upon the worst-hit areas in growing numbers.

It is pity that there are a lot of disasters in this Olympic year. This year, we, Chinese people, really have suffered a lot. however, we have not been defeated, instead, we've become more united and show great resolution to overcome all kinds of challenges to make our country more thriving and prosperous.

When people shout slogans "Cheer up, China!", "Cheer up, Wenchuan!" after a three-minute silent tribute to quake victims, at the Tian'anmen Square in central Beijing,I know that the nightmare of the 8 days gone by will fade from the collective Chinese mind with time;and I could see the Chinese longings to rebuild a better future with dauntless perseverance and national esprit de corps !

我们忘不了这样的一张图片：一位中学生被压在水泥堆下，手腕上牵着根输液管，脸庞尚留血渍；我们忘不了，66岁的温家宝总理不慎摔倒，手臂受伤出血，但为了抢救遇险群众，他把要给他包扎的医务人员推开了。

“9个小时救出两母女。”震撼来自于一位记者在灾区的所见所闻，来自于他亲眼目睹的惨状，和在灾难面前永不泯灭的爱心和民族脊梁。9个小时，两条鲜活的生命，所有的人伸出手臂，迎接复活的母女！上天啊，当你降灾难于人间，可曾被这一幕打动！

“你们让我再去救一个，求求你们让我再去救一个！我还能再救一个！”一个刚从废墟中带出了一个孩子的战士跪了下来大哭，对拖着他的人说。所有人都哭了，然而所有人都无计可施，只能眼睁睁地看着废墟第二次坍塌。几个小孩子还是被救出来了，但只有一个活着。当那些年轻的战士抱着那个幸存的小女孩在雨中大叫着跑向救援队所在的帐篷时，上天也泣不成声了。

“救救我。”一位被埋在废墟中的女学生伸出一只求援的手不停地呼唤着。孩子，别放弃希望；孩子，别哭！我们一定要把所有的障碍移开，让你重新回到家人的怀抱！即使是用最原始的挖掘不止的双手，我们也要刨出每一个生的

希望。

央视的主持人在直播中哭了，在一句“为什么我们能够这样（爱心救助），是因为这片土地的人民懂得互相守望和帮助”的解说后，他眼含泪水，忍不住哭泣。然而，这一次没有人责怪他。灾难牵动着亿万中华儿女，每个人都忍不住动容。

看着那些幼小的生命，他们蜷缩着，鲜血已经凝固，像熟睡的样子„„总理哭了，更多的人也和总理一样哭了。面对天灾，我们可以对大自然的残酷无情心生怨恨，但我们明白，怨天尤人不会让逝者复活，努力从废墟中挽救幸存者的生命，才是我们应该做的。今天是三天生命临界线的最后一天，让我们擦干泪水，从四面八方伸出援助之手，为灾区人民尽一份绵薄之力。从那一刻起，就再也没有人会无助地哭泣。

众人拾柴火焰高,爱心不分能力大小、物力多少!
