Some people often say:“money is more important than time.”they think that if people have money. They can buy clothes, foods, drinks, houses, cars, computers and so o n. But l don’t think so. Because when time is gone we can't get it back. But we can keep on making more money. We can use time to get money. However we can’t use money to get time. Lost wealth maybe replaced by industry. Lost knowledge by study. Lost health by temperance or medicine, but lost time is gone for ever. I cannot afford to waste my time making money. So I think time is more important than money. We must make full use of our time to study and work. Each moment in history is a fleeting time, precious and unique.

president obama: good afternoon。 i want to start by thanking president hu and the chinese people for the warmth and hospitality that they have shown myself and our delegation since we arrived。 we had a wonderful day in shanghai yesterday， a wonderful discussion with china’s young men and women， and i’m looking forward to the conversations we’ll have and the sights that we’ll see here in beijing over the next two days。

we meet here at a time when the relationship between the united states and china has never been more important to our collective future。 the major challenges of the 21st century， from climate change to nuclear proliferation to economic recovery， are challenges that touch both our nations， and challenges that neither of our nations can solve by acting alone。

we agreed on the importance of resuming the six-party talks as soon as possible。 as i said in tokyo， north korea has a choice: it can continue down the path of

confrontation and provocation that has led to less security， less prosperity， and more isolation from the global munity， or it can choose to bee a full member of the international munity， which will give a better life to its people by living up to international obligations and foregoing nuclear weapons。

finally， as i did yesterday in shanghai， i spoke to president hu about america’s bedrock beliefs that all men and women possess certain fundamental human rights。 we do not believe these principles are unique to america， but rather they are universal rights and that they should be available to all peoples， to all ethnic and religious minorities。 and our two countries agreed to continue to move this discussion forward in a human rights dialogue that is scheduled for early next year。

we did note that while we recognize that tibet is part of the people’s republic of china， the united states supports the early resumption of dialogue between the chinese government and representatives of the dalai lama to resolve any concerns and differences that the two sides may have。 we also applauded the steps that the people’s republic of china and taiwan have already taken to relax tensions and build ties across the taiwan strait。

president obama: good afternoon。 it is a great honor for me to be here in shanghai， and to have this opportunity to speak with all of you。 i'd like to thank fudan university's president yang for his hospitality and his gracious wele。 i'd also like to thank our outstanding ambassador， jon huntsman， who exemplifies the deep ties and respect between our nations。 i don't know what he said， but i hope it was good。 (laughter。)

what i'd like to do is to make some opening ments， and then what i'm really looking forward to doing is taking questions， not only from students who are in the audience， but also we've received questions online， which will be asked by some of the students who are here in the audience， as well as by ambassador huntsman。 and i am very sorry that my chinese is not as good as your english， but i am looking forward to this chance to have a dialogue。

this is my first time traveling to china， and i'm excited to see this majestic country。 here， in shanghai， we see the growth that has caught the attention of the world -- the soaring skyscrapers， the bustling streets and entrepreneurial activity。 and just as i'm impressed by these signs of china's journey to the 21st century， i'm eager to see those ancient places that speak to us from china's distant past。 tomorrow and the next day i hope to have a chance when i'm in beijing to see the majesty of the forbidden city and the wonder of the great wall。 truly， this is a nation that enpasses both a rich history and a belief in the promise of the future。

the same can be said of the relationship between our two countries。 shanghai， of course， is a city that has great meaning in the history of the relationship between the united states and china。 it was here， 37 years ago， that the shanghai munique opened the door to a new chapter of engagement between our governments and among our people。 however， america's ties to this city -- and to this country -- stretch back further， to the earliest days of america's independence。

in 1979， trade between the united states and china stood at roughly $5 billion -- today it tops over $400 billion each year。 the merce affects our people's lives in so many ways。 america imports from china many of the puter parts we use， the clothes we wear; and we export to china machinery that helps power your industry。 this trade could create even more jobs on both sides of the pacific， while allowing our people to enjoy a better quality of life。 and as demand bees more balanced， it can lead to even broader prosperity。

and in 1979， the connections among our people were limited。 today， we see the curiosity of those ping-pong players manifested in the ties that are being forged across many sectors。 the second highest number of foreign students in the united states e from china， and we've seen a 50 percent increase in the study of chinese among our own students。 there are nearly 200 "friendship cities" drawing our munities together。 american and chinese scientists cooperate on new research and discovery。 and of course， yao ming is just one signal of our shared love of basketball -- i'm only sorry that i won't be able to see a shanghai sharks game while i'm visiting。

it is no coincidence that the relationship between our countries has acpanied a period of positive change。 china has lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty -- an acplishment unparalleled in human history -- while playing a larger role in global events。 and the united states has seen our economy grow along with the standard of living enjoyed by our people， while bringing the cold war to a successful conclusion。

我们两国之间的关系相伴着一个积极变化的时期，这不是偶然的。中国实现了亿万人民脱贫，这一成就史无前例，同时，中国在全球问题中也在发挥更大的作用。美国在促使冷战顺利结束的同时，经济也取得了增长，人民的生活水平提高。

there is a chinese proverb: "consider the past， and you shall know the future。" surely， we have known setbacks and challenges over the last 30 years。 our relationship has not been without disagreement and difficulty。 but the notion that we must be adversaries is not predestined -- not when we consider the past。 indeed， because of our cooperation， both the united states and china are more

prosperous and more secure。 we have seen what is possible when we build upon

our mutual interests， and engage on the basis of mutual respect。

中国有句名言:“温故而知新。”当然，过去30年中我们也曾遇到挫折和挑战，我们的关系不是没有分歧和困难。但是，“我们必然是对手”的概念并非是注定不变的——回顾过去不会是这样。由于我们的合作，美中两国都更加繁荣、更加安全。我们已经看到我们本着共同的利益和相互的尊重去努力所能取得的成果。

and yet the success of that engagement depends upon understanding -- on sustaining an open dialogue， and learning about one another and from one another。 for just as that american table tennis player pointed out -- we share much in mon as human beings， but our countries are different in certain ways。

i believe that each country must chart its own course。 china is an ancient nation， with a deeply rooted culture。 the united states， by parison， is a young nation， whose culture is determined by the many different immigrants who have e to our shores， and by the founding documents that guide our democracy。

those documents put forward a simple vision of human affairs， and they enshrine several core principles -- that all men and women are created equal， and possess certain fundamental rights; that government should reflect the will of the people and respond to their wishes; that merce should be open， information

freely accessible; and that laws， and not simply men， should guarantee the administration of justice。

of course， the story of our nation is not without its difficult chapters。 in many ways -- over many years -- we have struggled to advance the promise of these principles to all of our people， and to forge a more perfect union。 we fought a very painful civil war， and freed a portion of our population from slavery。 it took time for women to be extended the right to vote， workers to win the right to organize， and for immigrants from different corners of the globe to be fully embraced。 even after they were freed， african americans persevered through conditions that were separate and not equal， before winning full and equal rights。

none of this was easy。 but we made progress because of our belief in those core principles， which have served as our pass through the darkest of storms。 that is why lincoln could stand up in the midst of civil war and declare it a struggle to see whether any nation， conceived in liberty， and "dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal" could long endure。 that is why dr。 martin luther king could stand on the steps of the lincoln memorial and ask that our nation live out the true meaning of its creed。 that's why immigrants from china to kenya could find a home on our shores; why opportunity is available to

all who would work for it; and why someone like me， who less than 50 years ago would have had trouble voting in some parts of america， is now able to serve as its president。

and that is why america will always speak out for these core principles around the world。 we do not seek to impose any system of government on any other nation， but we also don't believe that the principles that we stand for are unique to our nation。 these freedoms of expression_r_r_r and worship -- of access to information and political participation -- we believe are universal rights。 they should be available to all people， including ethnic and religious minorities -- whether they are in the united states， china， or any nation。 indeed， it is that respect for universal rights that guides america's openness to other countries; our respect for different cultures; our mitment to international law; and our faith in the future。

[篇一:英语口语培训心得]

2011年7月4日至7月22日，我参加了由包河区教育局组织的英语口语培训活动。尊敬的学校领导们把信任与期望给了我，于是我很荣幸的获得了这次宝贵的提升专业素质和业务素质的机会，使我无论是在英语水平、教学思想还是人生态度方面都受益匪浅。

此次培训是全外教授课，实行小班教学。在培训期间，以口语练习为主，兼顾日常生活，文化背景以及英语教学方法的介绍和指导，让我们英语教师在异国历史，文化习俗的氛围下自然的去感受语言，学说语言，掌握其实际应用技巧。英语口语培训心得。我是一名教学经验尚浅的英语教师，我很珍惜这次机会，在整个培训过程中，学习认真刻苦，。对于外向的同学自然比较容易，那么内向腼腆一点的同学就要自己逼迫自己了，比如每节课至少举一次手，回答一个问题。这个并不难，日积月累，胆量大了，口语也有了提高，何乐而不为呢?

开始入门时，学习最简单的用法和表达，学会描述、定义、举例说明的方法。这样你说话才有内容。也可以找一个语言伙伴，天天练习。如果对方的母语是英语，那就更是锦上添花了。

需要注意的是，栗子要现炒现卖，口语也要学了就用。有些同学说也说了，练也练了，但就是进步不大。原因很简单，他们每次总是用同样的句式说同样的东西，水平自然不会提高。任何语言都是用了才会记住，才能变成自己的。把刚学到的、看到的，马上就说出来，用到自己的表达中去，即使错了也没有关系。实践才是检验真理的惟一标准。

★语音篇

这个可能是大家最关心的，我也没有什么技巧，主要是模仿练习。听磁带跟读固然很好，但是很多人不能分辨自己与录音的差距，听完、读完也就算完了，结果自己的发音依旧没有改进。反复听磁带，录下自己的声音，先放自己的，再对比磁带，很容易就找到差别了。然后再对照录音反复模仿，不断练习。

在模仿的时候要注意最基本的三点:语调、发音、音色。

语调很重要。英语抑扬顿挫，讲求音律感。模仿时，对照磁带用箭头给文章里的语句标注出语气的升降。这看似很傻，但却有助于记忆。在自己朗读时，还可以根据记号，寻找其中的规律。

另外一个是发音。我们的缺陷主要是双元音。发双元音时，需要将第一个单元音发得饱满，然后迅速滑动到第二个单元音，并结束。认真练习双元音，这是一种很好的锻炼口腔肌肉的方式。此外建议大家多听听欧美歌手的抒情歌曲。

至于音色，这是先天的，恐怕不是练习可以改变的了。

★背诵篇

这是口语学习的第二个阶段，目的是为了精准。

背诵的作用大家不能小看，这是英语学习最笨但是最有用的方法。背诵的功力高，口语、听力、写作都会大大提高。许多同学一天读一篇，我的建议是一天背一段。不用背很长，没有时间，几句话也行。时间长了，自然会成为“大牛”。

背诵的方法，我简单总结为“四走”:首先还是要反复听磁带，跟着磁带走，否则就失去学习纯正英语的意义。先跟磁带读，每个意群一顿，或者每句一顿。然后慢慢一段一顿，让自己把长句完整说出来。这样听个五六遍，文章基本就背下来了。很多外国语学校的同学都是这样练习的(包括我自己)。从初中开始这就是他们雷打不动的家庭作业，有的学校还极端地要求家长签字，每个同学每天到老师面前背课文，最后计入考试成绩。虽然当时怨声载道，但事实证明这样确实有效。

第二，弄清英文的思维习惯，跟着逻辑走。背篇章的时候大家会发现第一、两句话基本都能概括整段的意思，这就是所谓的主题句。下面的都是一些解释、例证。最后的一句可能再作一个小小的总结。英文的这种行文习惯与中文的松散形式很不同，大家要习惯这种方式，并在讲话以及写作时按照这样的一种逻辑方式进行思考。

第三，回想课文的精彩语句，跟着记忆走。背完一篇要经常温习，至少要自己尝试使用这篇中你认为有价值的表达方式。但是，切记:一定要忠实原文，不能按照自己的方式随意篡改，多一个冠词，换一个介词，就会搞得面目全非。

第四，忘记课文中的内容与结构，跟着感觉走。这个阶段试着用自己的语言重组文章。因为加入了自己的理解，所以很容易记住文章的精华部分。并且每次重组完后要再对照一下原文，看看自己还有什么欠缺。

总之，地道的表达始于背诵。输入的多，输入精准，输出才可能有数量、有质量。

★泛听篇

听力和口语总是相辅相成的，基本上听力好的人，口语也不会差。

前面推荐的背诵要求精，那么听力训练范围就可以广一些了。音乐(一定要吐字清晰的)、电影、电视剧都可以。

看电影、电视剧时，最好关掉字幕听。第一遍试试关掉字幕看，然后再对着英文字幕回味一下，肯定记忆很深。精彩的片断，喜欢的就背下来。我自己就背了很多，完全出于兴趣，没想到日后竟然派上用场。我的一个同学，大一时英语基础很差，但是每天都坚持看美国影视剧，看到喜欢的跟在后面再复述一遍，现在大有长进，表达也很地道。所以大家都要有信心，每个人都可以获得提高，关键就看你有没有毅力了。★演讲篇

最后简单谈谈演讲。演讲不仅是英语实力的展现，更是演讲者综合素质的体现，包括语言能力、反应能力、知识面和表现力，缺一不可。对于演讲来说，语言能力有别于书面的表达能力，起更关键作用的是口头叙述的能力。而这一差别就直接决定了演讲者的胜负。平时有意识地多参加演讲训练和比赛，不仅提高口语能力，整体英语水平和知识面都会随之提高。
