Secondly, less hatred, and more love and mercy can be helpful when we deal with each other. One may receive intangible and unexpected benefits in virtue of good nature and sweet temper. Besides, our society would be more harmonious when filled with love and forgiveness.

When you put yourself in others’ shoes, you will find it easier to forgive and forget. If you try your best to understand others, you will get to know their trouble and become more sympathetic. Therefore, life can abound in love with the existence of forgiveness.

As for me, I am in favor of continuing study after college graduation since I am passionate about the exploration of knowledge. Nevertheless, we should also respect the choice of those who are determined to work. To conclude, make a decision that best suits you and prepare yourself for that as early as possible.

How to Live a Low-carbon Life

An Eye-Witness Account of a Fire

Last Saturday evening, at approximately 7 p.m., I went out to buy some fruits. Suddenly, I heard sirens resounding, followed by a fire truck which rushed by. A few yards away, I saw flames with thick volume of dark smoke coming out from an office building.

Fortunately, the firefighters arrived in time and with their joint effort the fire was extinguished in less than ten minutes, with the building slightly damaged. There were no casualties during the fire, as it was off-work time and few were in the office.

Later, an official report form the municipal government announced that the fire was caused by a cigarette butt negligently left on a desk.

The incident has left a deep impression on me . I think most fires are brought about by carelessness and violation of fire safety regulations, which can be avoided easily. It is vital for every one of us to foster a sense of fire prevention and keep in mind the fire precautions, so that unnecessary fires can be prevented.
