造句该这样训练好

近来,听了几堂公开课,参加了几次研讨会,对一个问题的争议引起了我的深思。

某青年教师执教《麻雀》一课,在指导“搏斗”一词造句时,设计了一些练习题。但这些题目都是围绕《麻雀》一课设计的,并没有让学生拓展训练,有评课者认为这样的造句练习不到位,学生的造句将千篇一律。又有某青年教师执教《跳水》一文,指导“不然”一词造句,设计了一些有关课文内容的练习题,又设计了课外的练习题,最后放手让学生造句子。有评课者认为这样打乱了分析课文的思路,与课堂气氛格格不入。两种截然不同的观点,到底孰是孰非?笔者偏向于后者,认为训练时要打开学生的思路,拓展学生的思维。

叶圣陶先生曾说过:“语文教材无非是例子,凭这个例子要使学生能够举一反三,练习阅读和作文的熟练技能;因此,教师就要朝着促使学生‘反三’这个目标精要地‘讲’,务必启发学生的能动性,引导他们尽可能自己去探索。”从这里,我们可以清楚地体会到叶老的观点:执教者不要被教材所左右,掌握教材并不是我们的终极目标,我们的最终目标是通过教材内容让学生能举一反三。显然,前者没有打开思路,虽有一系列的指导,但形成的是夹生饭;而后者没有拘泥于课文内容,从学习词语到运用词语,一气呵成,达到了教学目的。

笔者认为,课堂上造句训练不但要练说,还要练写。在我们的教学目标中,赫然写着“学习用××造句”,那么,何不在具体实践中,腾出三分钟让学生当堂写下来,让全体学生参与训练,完成教学目的呢?

看来,要把教学重点从理解内容转移到语言文字训练方面来,是教学观念的根本改变,需要我们在具体实践中,对具体细节多加讨论、研究。
