Step 1 Warm-up:

Free talk: talk about the summer vacation.

T: In my summer vacation, I met some new friends. They are very kind. Please open your books, turn to page 1, and look at the characters together. Can you find who our new friend is?

Ss: It’s Lucy.

T: Does she have long hair?

T: Today we’re going to learn Unit 1 Lesson 1 She’s very kind. Please open your books, turn to page 4. Look, Jenny and Danny are talking.

Task 1: please listen to the tape once, try to find who they are talking.

1. Play the tape, have students listen carefully and try to find.

2. T: Let’s check: Can you find who they are talking?

T: Yes, they are talking Miss Zhang. How is Miss Zhang? Is she tall? Is she beautiful?

3. Practice the sentences, read one by one or group by group, and check.

2. Listen again, pause and try to follow. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

3. Practice in groups. Each has a role. Teacher walks around and helps them.

4. Invite some to show, praise them in time.

Practice talking about appearances: (2. Let’s talk.)

一、教学内容与分析

Just speak 情景会话:

新学年开始,英语老师MISS Liu向全班学生介绍两位新同学:来自中国北京的10岁女孩Zhou Pei,和来自英国的 11岁男孩Bob,同学们在热烈欢迎两位新朋友。 行动目标:

学习如何介绍自己的姓名、年龄和所在的国家或地区。 重点聚焦: I'm Bob. I'm eleven. I come from Britain. I'm Zhou Pei. I'm ten. I come from Beijing. 滚动项目:

We have two new friends In our class. Welcome to class.Come to the front. Go back to your seat. 读图向导:

引导学生注意观察Zhou Pei和 Bob的面部、头发、体形等外部特征。

二、教学目标:

言语技能目标

能够向新同学介绍自己的基本情况;包括姓名、年龄、以及所在国家、城市或地区; 语言知识目标

三、课前准备

1. 准备本课的学生卡片、教师卡片、教学挂图、录音磁带和投影片。

2. 准备四年级上册第2课歌曲 Where are you from?和三年级下册第8课歌曲 How old are you?的磁带。

3. 自制 Zhou Pei和 Bob的头饰。

4. 根据班内学生人数制作若干空“名片”。空出姓名、年龄、性别,上课时让学生填写。出生地一栏教师可以根据学生实际情况填写好一些地名。教师还可以根据情况添加其他有关项目。

四、教学步骤:

l. 热身/复习(Warming-up/Revision)

1) 播放四年级上册第二课Where are you from?和三年级下册第8课歌曲 How old are you?的磁带。

2) 让学生齐唱以上两首歌曲,在欢快的音乐中复习Where are you from?I’m from China. How old are you?I’m seven. 等表达方式,为本课教学内容的学习做好铺垫。 2. 新课导入(Presentation)

1) 展示本课的教学挂图,让学生观察。

2) 教师指着挂图,让学生了解会话情景及会话的主要内容。以下是供教师参考的教学语言(学生回答略):

Where is this?Can you guess?(教师指着整幅场景图) Yes, it’s in a classroom.

This is Miss Liu, the English teacher.(指着Miss Liu) Look at this boy.(指着 Bob) His name is Bob. Bob is a fat boy. What color is his hair? Yes, it’s yellow.

And look at this girl.(指着Zhou Pei) Her name is Zhou Pei. Zhou Pei has big eyes.

Her hair is long. What color is her hair? Yes, it’s black.

Zhou Pei and Bob are our new friends. Where are they from?Can you guess?

3) 引导学生通过头发颜色等外部特征猜测Zhou Pei和Bob可能来自什么地方。最后教师告诉学生答案:

Zhou Pei is from Beijing. She is a Chinese girl.

Bob is from Britain. He is an English boy.(板书Britain并解释其词义)

4) 提出问题:

How old is Zhou Pei?How old is Bob?Do you know? Listen to the tape and try to find the answer.

5)播放录音,让学生听后回答问题,可以根据情况多放几遍录音。 6)选几个学生回答问题,教师应耐心引导并给以鼓励。 7)再播放录音,让学生核对以上问题的答案。

注:如果恰好真的有新同学插班,教师一定要抓住机会,灵活地做好准备,用真实的对话代替上面的有关步骤。因为新来的学生可能会有些拘束,教师在整个教学过程中应给新同学更多的关照,注意耐心引导并鼓励新同学积极发言。 3. 趣味操练(Practice)

l)教师拿出事先准备好的“名片”,让学生抽签得到自己的一份。教师指导学生填写自己的姓名、年龄、性别,然后记住各自“名片”上的出生地。最后向全班同学做自我介绍。以下教学语言可供教师参考:

Now, boys and girls,look at your name cards. Write your names and your ages on the cards in English. Then tell your classmates:What’s your name?How old are you? Are you a boy or a girl?Where are you from? 2)选几名学生到讲台上来,向大家作自我介绍。

T:A, come to the front and introduce yourself to your classmates, please. A:…

T:Thank you, A!You did very well. Go back to your seat, please. 教师与同学共同给予评价。

3)另外选几名学生两人一组,到讲台上来,拿着“名片”互相对话。参考对话如下: A:Hi, B!How old are you? B:I’m 10. And you? A:I’m 11.

B:where are you nom?

A:I’m from Haidian District. And you? B:I’m from Nankai District.

4)再次播放对话录音,让学生看着挂图逐句模仿跟读。

5) 选几个接受快的学生戴上Zhou Pei和 Bob的头饰,教师扮演 Miss Liu,三人到讲台上来,和全班学生(Class)一起,分角色重现本课对话。

6) 鼓励全班学生四人一组,分角色演练本课对话。对话熟悉后,替换自己的真实姓名和年龄,进行真实对话。 4. 课堂评价(Assessment)

l)教师指导学生完成《活动手册》中相关的内容。

首先,教师应该全面、细致地向学生介绍《活动手册》的作用和使用方法,向学生展示每课活动中用于自我评价的小印章。告诉学生,每课的题目做完后,要根据完成活动的质量,通过给小印章涂色的办法进行自我评价,也。也可以同学之间互相评价。活动完成得越好,小印章涂色的数量越多。每个单元结束时,师生共同总结该单元小印章涂色的情况,对活动完成得出色的学生,教师发给数量不等的小贴纸(见活动手册书后)作为奖励。对表现欠佳的学生,教师应该提出具体明确的指导意见,鼓励他们树立信心,并在下一步学习中尽快提高。每个单元开始时,师生共同讨论该单元奖励贴纸的总数量,教师应该注意以鼓励性评价为主,让多数学生都有机会得到贴纸奖励。由于学生用书各单双课之间的内容联系比较紧密,《活动手册》是以单双课为一个整体来设计的。为便于使用,《活动手册》的页码与学生用书的页码完全对应,在使用过程中,教师可以根据需要,灵活安排《活动手册》的使用时间。下面是第一课活动手册的内容和要求。

(1)要求学生听录音,根据录音提示把《活动手册》书后所附小贴纸贴在题目中适当的位置,然后大声朗读四组句子。检测学生听后理解的能力和认读能力。
