Unit 1 How can I get there?

第一课时

一、教学内容:A Let’s try Let’s talk C Let’s wrap it up 二、教学目标:

1. 帮助学生理解对话,并学会运用句型“Where is the ...? ”问路。

2. 帮助学生学会运用词组“near, next to, behind”等表述方位。达到简单的交际。 三、教学重难点:

1. Warm---up (热身及预习展示) 师生自由问答:

2. Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)

(1)教师在黑板上画一座房子和一个机器人,指着机器人说:Who’s that? 学生回答:It’s Robin. 再指着房子说:Where can we find Robin? 学生回答:In the museum. 教师出示感叹句:What a great museum!

(2)教师出示一张明信片,说:"It’s a post card.Robin want to sent a post card.Where should he go?” 引出单词post office.

(3)教师出示一张地图,问学生:“Where is the post office?”出示单词:next to, near, behind. 教师利用三个例句结合图片理解next to, near, behind.

(4)在学生理解三个方位介词后,小组活动,利用方位介词描述途中各个场馆的位置。 (5)Let’s try

教师让学生阅读听力题目,然后听录音独立完成内容。 (6)教师出示对话内容,请学生听录音,然后朗读对话。 (7)学生进行操练,先同桌互练,再在全班表演. 3. Consolidation and extension(拓展延伸)

三、教学重难点:本课时的教学重点和难点是掌握四会短语和A Let's learn部分中运用方位借此表述位置。 四、教学准备:

1.教师准备本课时的录音。 2.单词卡片。 五、教学过程:

1. Warm---up (热身及预习展示)

学生复习对话,教师请学生两人一组表演朗读对话。

2. Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)

(1)教师出示Robin, 并说:Robin is a robot. Where can we find Robin? 引导学生说出单词 science museum.

(2)教师出示地图,并说:Robin wants to sent a post card, it’s near the museum. Where is it? 引出单词post office.

(3)教师根据地图继续引导学生:Robin wants to buy some books, the place is next to the post office. Can you find where Robin want to go? (4)以同样的方法教单词cinema和hospital.

课后反思

本节课主要学习六个表示场所的单词和一个句型,内容与学生的生活息息相关。在上课时,学生学习比较积极。我尝试用“先学后教、兵带兵、当堂训练”的教学模式。引导学生根据单词字母结构拼读,还在“奇记”的基础上拓展,设计了高单词巧妙方法,让学生在形象地记忆单词,包括单词的字母结构和发音以及中文意思。例如:学习“cinema”时,我的方法是:“在电影院吃ci东西一个门洞n卖鸡蛋e、两个门洞m

苹果a”。“e”代表鸡蛋、“a”代表苹果。这是我一直的教学思维,学生也早就认可的并记忆的。所有的学生都能拼、说、读、写“cinema”。学习其他几个单词或词组也用了这个方法,并用多媒体PPT形式展示给学生,又形象又生动,大大提高学生学习的积极性。这是我以前也常用的教学单词的方法,这要花一些时间去设计和构思。但对学生学“枯燥无味”的英语单调来说是一种很好的“调味剂”。我在科组会上也积极向科组成员推举我的“奇记”形式的教学单词方法。

此外,因今年六年级是刚用新版PEP英语教材,其实和原来的版本教学内容紧密相关,在教学中我插入一些原版的单词和句子让学生认知并运用。对考试技能有很大帮助。

课后反思

本节课采用所学的Chant让学生在吟唱歌谣的英语气氛中复习句型,出示图片,以抢答的形式复习前一节课所学的单词。本节课所学的问句在上一节课已经学过,所以把重点放在答句的练习上。为了提高学生综合运用语言的能力,让学生改编对话。练习学生的口头表达能力和反应能力。并用多媒体PPT形式展示给学生,又形象又生动,大大提高学生学习的积极性。扩大练习题量和难度层次。同时展示旧版的相关句子,要求学生拼写认读。

本节课也存在很多不足之处,大多数学生会用“Where is the cinema/post office/„please? It’s next to the hospital/cinema/„”但不会“指路”:“Turn left at the bookstore. Then turn right at the hospital.”特别是“at”很多学生漏用。在以后的学习写句子中也存这样的不足。这就需要师生之间多说多练。

本单元主要是要求学生能够用过去时表达过去发生的一些事情,能够用本单元主要句式询问对方或他人在过去时间的住所。让学生对一般过去时有一个初步的认识。引导学生形成与人为善的态度。本单元能够丰富学生的天文知识,激发学生乐于观察的热情。

过程方法:
