(一).Lead-in

举几个有形容词的短语和句子 something nice

定义:形容词是说明事物或人的性质或特征的词。用来修饰名词和不定代词.Explaining the usages of the adjective

1. 做定语,用来限定或修饰名词或代词

1).一般放名词前,必须放以-thing为字尾的不定代词之后,如果形容词和不定式一起修饰

名词时形容词也要放名词后。 eg. I saw many beautiful girls.My friend is a lucky boy. Do you have anything old?He has something important to tell you. It is a task easy to finish.

2).形容词和表度量的短语连用作定语时放名词前后都可以但结构不同 The little boy is only two years old. That is an only two-year-old boy. The river is about 20 meters wide.It is a 20-meter-wide river.

3).几个形容词一起修饰一个名词的顺序:县官行令杀国材

a large round wooden table ,those nice red Chinese flowers

2.做表语,形容词放在系动词后做表语,表示主语的性质、状态和特征。 The food tastes good. It is getting colder and colder.

The leaves turn yellow in autumn

3.做补语,对宾语的补充,用来对宾语从程度上进行描述,常见动词有:think, wish。

bake 烘; colour ,drive 逼, dye 染; find,get , keep, let ,make ,paint , eg.I want to bake it hard.(我想把它烘硬了。)He drived her mad.他把她逼疯了

He painted the wall green. He dyed(染)her hair green.

Plenty of exercise keeps people healthy. I wish you happy.

He felt so unhappy that he wished himself dead.

They found the birdcage empty. He thinks it silly to stay there alone.

4.做主语

1)某些形容词加上定冠词指一类人,谓语用复数。

eg. the living,the rich,the poor,the blind,the hungry

The poor are losing hope.

2)国家和民族的形容词加上定冠词指这个民族的整体,谓语用复数。

5.做宾语

一般是指做介词的宾语,可以理解为介词后省略being

eg. in full(完全地),for free(免费地),get/give sth. for free

6.做状语:表示时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、程度、条件、方式和让步。

He spent seven days in the wind and snow, cold and hungry.

7.特殊情况

1).有些形容词通常只做定语

eg. golden, wooden, daily, elder, spare,形容词性物主代词

2).有些形容词通常只做表语

eg. :afraid, alone ,alike,asleep,awake,worth, alive,, ill ,sorry,

glad ,well,unwell,ill等。以下的说法是错的

8. 以-ly结尾的形容词【英语公开课定冠词教案】

1) 大部分形容词加-ly可构成副词。但 friendly,deadly,lovely,lonely,likely,lively,ugly,brotherly,仍为形容词。

(错) He spoke to me very friendly.

(对) He spoke to me in a very friendly way.

2)有些以-ly 结尾既为形容词,也为副词。

daily,weekly,monthly,yearly,early

The Times is a daily paper.

The Times is published daily

3)复合形容词 eg. hard-working, kind-hearted, three-legged, two-second

a beautiful girl, a rain morning,We are smart.

They felt tired after class. He always makes us angry. The rich often help the old.

一、热身活动

听力练习 I am water

设计意图:既能练习到学生的听力,又能很好的引出冠词

二、整体梳理再现。

1.听力练习解析。

1)听力填空练习

2)答案再现(第9页PPT)

3)复述故事(边听边复述,可以在学生复述过程中配以图片文字,以做核对之用)

4)翻译并引出冠词(引出冠词意思,字面上提示区别)

设计意图:一方面逐步训练学生听力和复述能力,另一方面通过逐层推敲,培养学生思考能力并且引出冠词

2. 冠词解析

1)冠词基本概念

冠词是用在名词前面,说明名词所表示的人或事物的词。

2)冠词分类(从听力材料中找出冠词)

不定冠词: a / an

定冠词:the

零冠词:不用冠词

3.冠词分类解析

1)不定冠词:a/an

①不定冠词概念(用例句解析)

His mother is a teacher.(代表某一类别)

She has a small nose, two big eyes. (表示数量,有“一”的意思)

②不定冠词用法:a 用于辅音音素前,an 用于元音音素前 His mother is a teacher.

An elephant is bigger than an ant

先由学生根据例句归纳(可能说成元音字母和辅音字母,然后老师再纠正)

2)定冠词:the

①定冠词概念 :特指

②先由学生看PPT,试着总结用法

③老师归纳与讲解 PPT15-16并补充

 用于姓氏的复数名词之前,表示一家人

 用于一些习惯用语中:in the morning

3)零冠词:/

①PPT16 学生归纳不用冠词的情况

②老师解析补充

 称呼语或表示头衔、职务的名词前不加冠词

 如果名词前已有this, that, my, your, whose, some, any, no, each, every等词修饰时,不用冠词。

 节日的名称前通常不用冠词

 表示乘坐某种工具的固定词语搭配中,不用冠词

 固定词组: at noon、at night
