阅读，丢失了什么
①人类需要阅读。人类几千年的创作和阅读，已经成为一种文化传统，一种生活习惯，一种跟饮食同等重要的精神营养补充。无论时代发展到什么地步，生活多么富足，我们依然离不开阅读。
②然而，不客忽视的现实是，阅读正在遭遇危机。面对当下浮躁的社会心态，我们不能不反思，今天的阅读，到底丢失了什么？
③我们丢失了作为一个读书人的“虚荣心”。读书人在过去人们的印象中是羡慕和尊重的对象。人们渴望读书，热爱读书，以读的书多为荣。去年湖北高考文科状元就曾经把《红楼梦》读了不下十遍而成为众人仰慕的对象；古往今来那些著名的政治家、文学家、思想家，哪一个不喜爱读书？而且，那些学有所成者，往往都很注重阅读经典。可是现在，你手上有没有书、你读不读书，并不是人们非常关心的事情。
④传统的纸质书籍阅读，如果是自己的书，会在书上做许多记号，写下许多阅读笔记，那些发黄的纸张会记下你的思想和成长。但是在今天这样一个高度信息化的时代里，我们已然丢失了阅读的耐心。手机阅读的“刷屏”让阅读速度加快，不想读的可以“刷刷”地跳过去。人们可以天天做读者，还可以发帖做评论员，但长期下去，丧失的是冷静的思考和沉醉的阅读体验，丧失的是做一个有思想分量和生活质量的人。刷屏时代的阅读，在阅读之后的这些遗存全然不见，阅读没有了记忆。
⑤我们丢失了对内容的鉴赏能力。读书并不应该停留在读故事，读故事只是消遣，真正的读书是增加人生的分量。
⑥以文学作品为例。美国作家海明威的名作《老人与海>，是一部好作品。你可以把它当励志小说读，因为有大家都知道的警句：“一个人并不是生来要给打败的，你尽可以把他消灭掉，可就是打不败他。”但往深处看，是一个老人的孤独，一个失败英雄的悲歌，那种深深的孤独感才是作家想表达的。再看下去，你可以发现小说的语言奇妙、温暖，还发现它有许多象征的隐喻，更发现许多让人琢磨不透的东西。比如，作家常写老渔夫梦见狮子，狮子也是沙漠和草原上孤独的英雄，这是老人对海的恐惧吗？等等。在这些之外，你还可以读出一个作家伟大的人道主义情怀。老渔夫的那些可怜又可敬的大量内心独白，等于在和大海不停地说话，和命运不停地说话，没有激烈的言辞，没有抱怨，没有诅咒，只有卑微的乞求和敬畏，宽容和理解。当你读完全篇，读到最后一句“老头儿正在梦见狮子”时，你感到对命运
