各位老师:大家好!今天我解读的是PEP新版小学英语六年级上册的教材。今天的解说主要分为“说总目标、说内容、说单元目标和重难点”三个步骤。

一、目标

我们说只有把握好目标,才能找准教学的方向。我们知道英语课程的总目标是从情感态度、学习策略,语言技能、语言知识、文化意识五个方面来培养学生的综合语言运用能力。它是语言目标和非语言目标的相结合。

那么本册教材内容的目标是。能听、说、读、写55个单词,9个短语和33个单句。能听、说、认读83个单词和短语,学会六个简单的谚语。能听懂、会唱6首英文歌曲,这就是语言技能的目标。能简单借助工具书学习英语,能对所学内容进行复习和归纳,则是本学期要达到的学习策略目标。能理解和表达这六个话题、了解一般将来时和一般现在时的用法,听懂并用英语讲述小故事这是语言知识的目标。能有兴趣,主动了解、积极合作,讨论研究这是情感态度目标。对西方国家风俗文化、建筑、地理位置等感兴趣,乐于接受就是文化意识目标。由此可见,新教材的目标是遵循着总目标来进行编写的。

二、内容

因为我刚刚带过的两个6年级班级,3~5年级所用的教材都是旧版的pep,上学年突然说要用改版的教材,着实对我来说是有些束手无策了,教过老教材的老师,大多都认为还是老版本好,因为老教材重难点更清晰些,句型简单些,学生较易掌握。改版后我们很多老师觉得这个难度增大了不少,大部分的单词及句子没有在老版教材里出现过,所以上学年的教学任务对于我们六年级的老师来讲是面临着巨大的挑战。本学期我是再一次教学六年级,现在重温这本新教材,我觉得好像没有之前对它那么有抵触感了,似乎能慢慢接受它了。

那么这个新教材内容更注重学生语言应用能力的培养,教材在整体构思、内容安排、活动设计和教学方法选用等方面紧密联系学生的生活实际,把知识和技能目标融会在完成任务的过程之中,充分体现了交际教学的思想。本册课本共6个单元,两个复习单元。

接下来,我通过新旧教材的对比,来简单做一下教材内容的分析。

(一)首先,从四会词、句的量上来进行对比,教过新旧版本的老师们应该

不难发现,新的教材调整并削减了总的词汇量。老教材Let’s learn中第一单元到第六单元单词的总量是71个,而新教材的合计总量则为60个。四会句型方面,老教材有29句四会句,新教材多了4句,共33句。从总体上来看,单词的拼背难易程度基本上没变,就新旧词汇量相比,学生的学习任务应该说是适当降低了。

(二)第二方面,新教材大大加强了听力的训练。从题型上来看,老教材的听力形式比较单一,而新教材题型较为多样化,有听音圈图、排序、听音完成表格、回答问题等等。在Let’s check 部分的听力更是层层递进,遵循了由整体到细节,由易到难的原则,既有考查主旨的内容,也有考查细节的部分,旨在系统化地训练学生的听力技巧。尤其是A、B部分的听力题,大多都是在为随后所学的对话服务,做适当的铺垫。

(三)第三个转变则是对话Let’s talk ,新教材是更加强化“说”。主要表现在talk 的篇幅加长了,虽然控制了每个对话的话论数,但渗透了一些前面已学句型的复现,突出了核心的教学内容。除了重点操练的句型还外加了许多口语化的语句,如why not…. Half price then….等,这既优化了语言,也使对话更为真实、流畅、贴合这个话题情景。

(四)第四方面,新教材的语音教学更注重语音、语调的培养,避免强调单一的音标、语音教学。六年级上册每单元的B部分中,就安排了句子的升降调、连读、多音节单词的重音、句子中单词的轻重音、句子的停顿、爆破音等知识点教学,这方面的语音知识学习能够促使学生的语言发音更标准、更纯正。

(五)阅读方面的变化

1. 形式的多样化。修订前,六年级教材读写板块的文本形式以对话、日记、邮件、邀请函为主,修订后文本形式更为丰富,除以往的形式外,还包括网页、海报、广告、诗歌、寓言、宾馆意见反馈表等。阅读文本的语言紧密结合各个单元的重要语言点,并适当地复现已学知识。

2. 练习形式多样化, 以前只有简单的选择、填空、回答问题,而且一般是一篇阅读一种题目类型。而新教材中的一篇阅读后有各种题型。就功能性而言,更加强调整体和细节的理解,在阅读中捕捉不同的信息,注意适当渗透简单的阅读技巧,同时读写结合在一起形成完整的一部分,学生先阅读故事或短文,然后仿照阅读文本写出简短的语句。这样的设计使得阅读文本有机地延伸到写的学习

任务中,读、写两种技能的训练相辅相成。

就以第一单元的阅读Robin has GPS为例,这篇阅读前,教材在开头就设置了需要学生解决的一个现实中的问题:通过哪些方面可以找到自己要去的地方? 图片提供了一些常见的工具:map compass GPS stars。借助这些图片的启发和问题的引导,学生可以从故事标题中的GPS一词来预测故事情节,为读前做好准备。读后的问题包含关于主旨大意的理解和故事细节的检查,同时也有猜测词义的阅读策略渗透。写的活动则是基于对故事的理解,填空补充完全故事内容,这为学生复述故事提供了一个完美的支架。这样的阅读训练能更好地与初中英语接轨。

(六)最后一块内容是新教材对文化板块进行了调整,它保留了弹性设计的C部分故事,将原有独立的、且内容单向、多倾向于英语国家文化介绍的文化板块融入到必学板块。在内容上注意选择中、西方文化的不同来进行介绍,例如:称谓、饮食文化、国家意识等多元文化教育内容,活动则更突出实践性、综合性和智能性,与原先的要求相比有所提高。

三、各单元的教学目标、教学重难点。

Unit1 How can I get there ?

第一单元的主要内容是关于询问路线的表达方法。

教学目标:

1.要求学生能够简单描述城市、城镇或乡村内公共设施的大致位置,如:Where is the museum shop? It’s near the door. 能够询问路线并简单回答如:How can we get there? Turn left at the bookstore.

2.要求掌握Let’s learn , Let’s talk 中的四会短语、四会单词和句子

3.帮助学生了解交通规则,并在生活中自觉遵守交通规则。

教学重点:学习如何问路并回答。

教学难点:学生能够熟练使用所学语言询问并回答某地的方位和感叹句。

Unit 2 Ways to go to school .第二单元的主要是教学出行方式的问答。

教学目标:

1. 要求学生能够正确询问并回答乘坐何种交通工具来去某地,如:

How do you come to school? Usually I come on foot.能够描述人们日常出行的方式.

2. 要求学生掌握Let’s learn , Let’s talk 中的四会的短语、单词和句子.

3. 帮助学生了解交通规则,并在生活中自觉遵守交通规则,特别是要学会看交通信号灯,安全的过马路。

4. 了解不同的国家交通规则的异同。

教学重点:学习如何询问并回答人们日常出行的方式。

教学难点:How引导的特殊疑问句、频度副词、“by+交通工具”表示出行方式。

Unit 3 My weekend plan第三单元主要教学周末计划和打算的问答句型 及相关将来时态的语法知识

教学目标:

1. 要求学生能够用“be going to do” 句型进行交流行事计划,如:What are you going to do tomorrow? I am going to have an art lesson .”;能够用where , when 替换句型.

(“What are you going to do ?”中的疑问词 what来提问并给予回答,如:Where are you going? I am going to the bookstore. When are you going ? I am going at 2 o”clock.等;)

2. 能够以小组的方式讨论并完成购书、当小导游、采访等任务,熟练运用“be going to do” 结构句型。

3.要求学生能够掌握Let’s learn , Let’s talk 中的四会单词和句子

4. 培养学生合理安排自己的学习与生活的能力;培养从小树立远大理想并为之努力的思想意识。

5. 关注小组合作与交流,加强自主学习。

教学重难点:如何询问对方打算做什么,打算去哪儿,打算何时去做某事,主要

句型是:”What are you going to do ? I am going to ….要求学生能对句型做替换练习。并能够掌握“wh-”疑问词一族。

Unit4 I have a Pen Pal 第四单元主要是关于询问和描述业余爱好和询问他人住处的相关表达方法。

教学目标:

1.要求学生能够询问和简单描述业余爱好,如:

What are Peter’s hobbies? He likes reading stories . 能够用一般现在时的一般疑问句形式询问他人的住处、爱好等情况并作答,如:Does he live in Sydney? Yes, he does .

2. 要求学生能够掌握Let’s learn , Let’s talk 中的四会单词和句子

3. 鼓励学生培养广泛的兴趣与爱好,形成乐于与人交往的性格。

4. 积极应用所学语言进行表达和交流,加强合作,共同完成学习任务。

5. 了解美国孩子们的课外活动。

教学重点:询问某人爱好的句型。

教学难点:Do /Does引导的一般疑问句、第三人称单数形式、动词ing形式的变化规则。

Unit 5 What does he do?第五单元则是关于职业为话题的单元 教学目标:

1. 要求学生能够简单介绍人物的职业,:如:He’s a businessman.能够应用句型“ What does he do? Where does he work? How does he go to work?”等询问他人的工作情况,并能做出相应的回答。

2. 要求学生能够掌握Let’s learn , Let’s talk 中的四会单词和句子.

3. 能够按要求较好的完成Let’s try 等活动。

4. 热学习有关人物的英语知识,做到热爱生活、尊重他人的劳动。

5. 能积极与他人合作,运用所学英语进行交流,共同完成学习任务。
