Step 2 presentation

1. Look at the picture on the screen.

T: Today, a new friend comes to our class .look! This is a robot. Show the word card (robot; robots) and practice reading.

一、教材分析

新标准英语三起第四册Module 4 Uuit1 的主题为“Robots will do everything.”它的语用功能是继续学习用“will”谈论将来可能发生的事情。本单元主要以学生非常感兴趣的“robot”为主体，以“ Robots will do everything.”为核心句型，话题贴近学生的日常生活，使学生能够从自身兴趣出发，在真实的语言环境中，积极运用所学知识，探讨机器人的未来发展趋势，充分体现了学生在学习过程中的主体地位。

二、学情分析

本课的教学对象是四年级学生。他们已经有一定的英语学习基础，在新语言知识点的学习过程中，教师应积极运用教材所提供的学生喜爱的机器人话题，给学生创设相关的语言情境，让学生在情境中自然习得、自然运用，大胆实践，形成积极的学习观和自主学习的能力。在新标准英语第三册中，学生已经学过用情感动词“can”来描述能力，在第四册第三模块中学生又初步学习了第一 、第二人称用“will”来描述将来可能发生的事情。所以，本课的教学内容只是把学生已经学过的知识有机地结合，改换人称，学生掌握起来比较容易。

三、教学目标

（一）知识目标

1.能听懂、会说并认读以下单词：robot, everything, housework, learn, our; 短语：one day.

2.能听懂、会说并认读以下句子：“Robots will do everything.” “Will they do the housework?” “Yes, they will./No, they won’t.”

（二）能力目标

1.能够流利地朗读课文对话。

2.能在图片或卡片的帮助下运用“will”来描述将来可能要发生的事情。

3.能借助运用“can”来描述能力。

（三）情感目标

1、通过对housework、homework等词汇的学习，渗透体会父母辛劳，多做家务；按时认真完成家庭作业的品质教育。

2、通过对本课“robot”的学习，让学生认识到现代高科技对我们人类生活所带来的巨大影响，培养学生热爱科学、尊重科学、努力学习、坚持不断发明创造的积极情感。

四、教学要点分析

（一）教学重点

1、能正确运用“will”句型来描述将来可能发生的事情。并能用will进行正确的提问和回答。

2、能正确运用情感动词“can”来描述能力。

（二）教学难点

认识“will”和“can”在表达意义上的区别并能正确运用；对one day的理解。

五．教学策略

1. 充分利用教材提供的CD-ROM和多媒体资源，使知识的呈现生动直观，同时还利用多媒体展示最新科学研究成果，让学生认识到知识和科学给我们生活所带来的巨大影响。

2. 操练活动丰富多彩，通过形式多样的操练活动，展开同桌活动、小组活动、记者采访和竞猜游戏等灵活多样的形式来进行巩固练习，并通过听说读写等多种形式，使学生理解所学知识、运用所学知识，达到语言交际的最终目的。

Step 1 Warming-up

1.Leading-in

Do you like this song? Now, I have a question. What’s this song about?引出机器人后，结合课件图片，教学robot和robots.（板书robot)

T: Do you have got a robot? This class, we’ll imagine and talk about our ideal robots.

设计意图：呈现本课任务，实施任务型教学。

2、Text

（1）、First, let’s see our friend Daming. Look at the picture.Who’s this boy? What are they talking about?

设计意图：引导学生学课文从读图入手，找出who(人物）和what（事件）.

（2）、Listen and judge. 播放cd-rom。同时要求学生画出相关句子。 设计意图：第一遍以听的形式，来感知语言，以便学生感知原汁原味的英语。

（3）、Read and answer. 在课件上呈现问题：Can robots do the housework now? 以课件几幅图片诠释housework的涵义。教学生词housework并问学生：Do you often do the housework?

设计意图：以图片的具体形象来具体扩展学生心中的housework, 加深理解，并适时渗透“体会父母辛劳，勤做家务活”的情感教育。

(提问几个学生）课件呈现答案Robots can’t do the housework now. But robots will do the housework one day. 课件以日历表的形式出示几个未来的具体日期来具体解释和学习one day这个“将来的某一天”。

(5)、运用One day, robots will „句型造句。 通过“眼疾口快”游戏快速抢答、回顾以前所学make cakes等短语，并造句。在造句结束后，自然导出One day, robots will do everything.这个核心句型。带读这个句子并板书。 设计意图：“眼疾口快”游戏既提高了学生参与课堂的积极性，又复习了以前所学常用短语，为引出核心句型和开展后面的活动做好了铺垫。

（6）、Listen and repeat.

设计意图：在感知和理解课文后，听录音模仿地道的语音、语调 ，为后来的朗读、分角色读等活动打下基础。

（7）、Read the text by Ss and read in the roles.
