　　Our government has called on the people to save food and eat healthily so that we can enjoy our happy life. We middle school students should do something for it.

　　To save food, we shouldn’t waste any of our food. We should eat up all the food. We shouldn’t order the food more than we can eat while dining out, because many people in the world don’t have enough to eat. To eat healthily, we shouldn’t eat junk food but healthy food. It’s good for our health to eat a balanced diet. We’d better not eat in small restaurants. The food and the oil they use are not clean or healthy enough. We’d better eat at school or at home if we have time.

　　政府呼吁人们节约粮食和饮食健康,这样我们可以享受我们的幸福生活。我们中学生应该为它做些什么。

　　保存食物,我们不应该浪费任何食物。我们应该吃掉所有的食物。我们不应该超过我们可以吃的食物而外出就餐,因为世界上很多人没有足够的食物吃。为了吃得健康,我们不应该吃垃圾食品但健康食品。对我们的健康有好处吃均衡的饮食。我们最好不要在小餐馆吃饭。食品和他们所使用的石油不够干净和健康。我们最好在学校或在家里吃,如果我们有时间。

　　Every year Chinese people throw away enough food which can feed 20 million people for one year. The wasted food is worth hundreds of billion yuan.

　　People often go to restaurants to treat guests. They always order more than they need as a way of showing respect or generosity to guests. There are other occasions where some people order much more food than they can eat because they will not be paying the bill.

　　Personally, I think measures should be taken to prevent such behavior. Firstly, people should become aware of the importance of saving food and the shame of wasting food. Secondly, if customers can’t eat the food ordered, they should pay extra. Thirdly, customers can pack up what is left on the plates. Thus, we can build an environment-friendly society.

　　As is shown in the picture, two men had a big dinner in a restaurant, but much of the food was left and some was even untouched at all. When the waitress asked them to pack the remaining food, they felt very surprised, thinking that it was unbelievable for them to do things like that with too much money in their pocket.

　　It is a pity that many people act like the two men in the picture. In my view, we should pack the leftovers when we have meals outside. As we all know, saving is a fine tradition for our Chinese people and therefore we shouldn’t waste a bit food. Also, there is not enough food in the world and there are many people starving. In addition, we students should form the habit of saving food and give away some to the people in need. Finally, we have the responsibility to help people around us realize the importance of saving.

　　Only in this way can we build up an economized society and live a happy and healthy life.
