为什么要认真学好英语？

中国有很多学生，特别是男生，学英语学得很痛苦。既然痛苦，为什么还要学呢？因为讲英语的英美等国家很强大，经济决定语言。据英国财长布朗宣布，过去五年，英国教育的出口收入增长近一倍，光利用英语这个“产品”英国每年就从国外赚回了100多亿英镑！

我们很多中国人学英语学得咬牙切齿：心里不想学，可又不得不学！在座的同学们当中，是不是很多人有这样的想法？是啊，可中考要考，还痛苦些也没办法！

所以，要想英国少从中国赚点钱，要想考上好高中好大学，同学们还得认真学好英语，还不喜欢英语也要学！只有学好英语，考上了好的大学，我们才有可能改变中国学英语的现状，才有可能使我们的子孙后代不再痛苦地学英语！

谁能决定中考高考不考英语？教育部长啊！不考大学，能当未来的国家教育部部长吗？肯定是不可能！所以，我们现在要认真学好英语，哪怕是痛苦也要认真学好。我们就好比革命先烈，为了子孙后代少些学英语的痛苦，我们现在就要甘愿为英语“抛头颅洒热血”！你看，学英语是多么光荣而又自豪的事情啊，这是各位同学伟大的“革命事业”！只有认真学好英语，我们才能考上理想的大学，将来才有可能走入社会的决策层，到时候我们才会说，我是教育部长，我首先要取消英语中考高考！

总而言之，我们现在要认真地学好英语，目的就是为了将来不学英语！恨得越深，爱得也越深，请大家热爱学英语吧！

英语四、五十分能学好英语吗？

首先请同学们认真思考这样一个问题：英语现在四五十分的同学能学好英语吗？不要看到我问这样的问题就认为老师是在教育人，就认为答案也是肯定的：Nothing is impossible。

中国目前学英语最出名的有两个人，大家知道吗？对，一个是疯狂英语的创始人李阳；另外一个就是新东方的董事长俞敏洪。这两个人学英语有这些共同点：一、英语成绩曾经都很差；二、后来都利用英语成就了自己的事业，成了中国最出名的英语学习者；三、把英语做成了产业。但是，他们学英语的特点是不相同的，各有各的特点。 首先说说李阳。李阳读中学的时候，英语成绩很差，常常只能考四

五十分。高三期间因对学习失去兴趣曾几欲退学，1986年才勉强考入兰州大学工程力学系。大学一二年级时李阳还多次补考英语。为了彻底改变英语学习失败的窘况，李阳开始奋起一博，他摒弃了偏重语法训练和阅读训练的传统，另辟蹊径，从口语突破，并独创性将考试题变成了朗朗上口的句子，然后脱口而出。经过四个月的艰苦努力，李阳在1988年大学英语四级考试中一举获得全校第二名的优异成绩！（鼓掌）李阳学英语最大的特点是：不要脸。（笑）请问同学们：你敢在我们学校美丽的校园里大声朗读英语吗？有个人在校园里叽里哇啦疯狂地说英语你会认为他是神经病吗？“开口说大声背”是李阳学英语成功的法宝，李阳在大学里、在单位里一直保持着大声说英语，而要做到这一点，一个人必须要不怕丑！怕出丑、怕出错的人是永远学不好英语的。

再说说俞敏洪。俞敏洪这个人最大的特点是不安于现状。俞敏洪高中复读了两年才很意外地考进了北大。他在北大的时候有很多的苦闷：一是普通话不好，二是英语水平一塌糊涂。所以被调到了C班，c班叫做“语音语调及听力障碍班”。（笑）俞敏洪大学毕业后留校任教，为了出国搞英语培训班，结果被北大开除了。有的人遇到这种挫折可能一蹶不振，但是俞敏洪没有。他以此为契机，创办了新东方学校，终于成就了一番事业。现在，俞敏洪很感谢北大开除了他，他说，如果北大当初不开除他，他顶多能抄点论文评个副教授。俞敏洪确实有很多精神值得同学们学习，将来在工作中也要有他这种精神。比如说：为同学打点水乐于奉献的精神、象蜗牛一样不停向自己的人生峰

顶攀爬的精神，巴拉巴拉„„有很多同学担心自己英语成绩不好，问我初三这一年英语能提高10分吗？现在，同学们应该可以回答了：只要自己努力，经过初三系统复习，大量的训练，人家四五十分的人都能学好英语，我们有什么不能学好的呢？！

最后，我要跟同学们强调一点：初三学习，一定要跟老师一起 有很多学生，特别是英语跛腿的学生，往往喜欢初三时单干：自己搞自己的。特别是复习的时候，老师讲的往往枯燥无味，所以上课不听讲，自己在那儿搞自己的，认为这样更有效。其实，这种想法是大错而特错的。历史经验告诉了我两个“凡是”：凡是自己搞自己的同学最后中考都失败了；凡是某一科自己搞自己的同学，中考那一科都没考好。我的英语水平有限，肯定不能保证每一个同学喜欢，也不能总是保持幽默。我就象我们学校食堂的师傅，做的饭菜是大多数同学所不喜爱的，呵呵。但是，虽然大锅饭做的饭菜不好吃，但是至少比同学们买的方便面有营养吧？再说，老师所做的是初三全体老师研究的结果，虽然个体有差异，但步伐不会错。所以，初三学习一定要紧跟“党”路走，不要自以为是，也不要闭门造车。
