【stand的用法】

这组单词，均可表示容忍、忍受的意思。

bear：为普通用语，泛指忍受精神上或肉体上不同程度的各种磨难。该词也可表示某人勇于承受住某种压力或经受住某种考验的意思。bear多用于否定句和疑问句，常与can,could连用。如：The pain was almost more than he could bear.疼痛几乎使他受不了。
