一、教学内容:

本单元的重点内容是“be“动词的过去式”was”和”were” 的练习,以及它们的否定形式“wasn’t”和”weren’t”的学习。本单元的主要任务就是练习使用was”和”were”,并学习使用“wasn’t”和”weren’t”表达过去的一些事情。

二、教学目标:

1、知识目标:全体学生能理解掌握单词wasn’t、weren’t、 dirty、clean 等 。全体学生能理解运用一般过去时句型“They weren’t old then.They were young.”

2.技能目标:全体学生能听懂会说认读单词及句型,并能正确书写。能运用“was 、were”及其否定形式“wasn’t、weren’t”谈论过去的事情和情况。

3、情感目标:通过对比培养学生善于发现的精神。

三、重难点:

1.教学重点:练习使用”was, wasn’t, were, weren’t ”表达过去的一些事情。

2.教学难点:能正确理解运用一般过去时,并能正确对比运用。

Step 1、Warm up

2、Try to say (SB activity 1)

(1)T: Very good! You are so clever .Now let’s look at a movie and find what are the dog and the cat talking about . (播放活动1 动画 ,帮助学生理解情景)

(2)学习单词“wasn’t”,然后让学生通过对比理解掌握相关文本。 Step 3、presentation

1、Learn new words and new sentences

T :Look at me. I have a balloon. I can blow it big. Look! This is big. Say after me”big”

Big, It’s big. It’s big. OK, now I can make it small. Look. This is small. Say after me, small. Small. It’s small. It’s small.

So we can say like this. It’s small. It was big then. Who wants to try? Blow this balloon.

Woo. It’s small. Now it’s big. So we can say it ‘s big. It was small then.

Please look at the screen. This is a balloon. The balloon is from small to big.(出示气球由小到大)It’s big now. It’s wasn’t big then. It was small. Follow me. 读一遍。

Now, how about this. They are small. They weren’t small them. They were big.(出示两个气球由大到小)

刚才出示这么几个词,我们来小结一下,表示现在我们可以用 is, am are.其中is am用于单数,are用于复数,两个以上我们就叫复数。表示过去我们用was和were, was用于单数,were用于复数。 还有,表示否定我们可以用wasn’t 和weren’t. wasn’t是was 的否定形式, 也就是was not, 而were not的缩写形式就是weren’t.

(1)观看课文动画,了解课文情景

语言功能:说明过去的特征与状态,比较现在和过去。 语言结构:They weren’t …then. They were ….

教学目标:

a.知识目标:能听懂并说出单词:grandparents, old, young, then, beautiful 和功能句:They weren’t old then. They were very young. She wasn’t tall then. She was short. It wasn’t clean then. It was dirty.

b.技能目标:能灵活运用功能句,并能说明某人或某物过去的特征与状态,比较现在和过去。

c.情感目标

通过多种多样的教学方法,使学生保持持久的学习兴趣,勇于创新。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主劝请教。

教学重、难点:

重点:能在实际中运用一般过去时描述人或事物的特征与状态,比较现在和过去。

难点:能准确的读出“wasn’t, weren’t”并能正确的运用。 教学方法:

基于对教学理念、教材分析、学生分析、教学目标、重难点的分析,我采用了以下教学方法:

1.任务型教学方法。

2.图片展示法。

3.视听法。

1.抢答说出一些形容词,并说说它的反义词。

2.出示图片,运用形容词说说图片。

T:(出示第一幅图片)what’s this? S: It’s a butterfly. T: How does it?(它是怎样的?)S: It’s very beautiful. 师出示另一副图片,说明是蝴蝶小的时候,并问学生小时候的蝴蝶是什么样的。(对学生有所提示,说出It wasn’t beautiful then。)

3.学习新单词。

Step 1. Warming-up

1. Greetings.

1. T: Hello. Boys and girls!今天我很高兴来到这里给你们上一节英语课。我姓黄,所以你们可以叫我……(Mr. Huang!)

That’s right. Are you ready for class?(准备好上课了吗?) Class begins. Good morning boys and girls! Sit down, please. How are you?

2. Now, Let’s practice some opposite words.

I say tall. You say short. OK?

(big - small, long - short, fat – thin, tall – short, old – young, happy – sad)

Very good. Let’s listen to the music. Say the chant and do the actions

T: I’m tall. Ss I was short. T: tall / tall. Ss: short / short…

Excellent! Sit down please.

Step 2. Presentation

Look at me. I have a balloon. I can blow it big. Look! This is big. Say after me”big” Big, It’s big. It’s big. OK, now I can make it small. Look. This is small. Say after me, small. Small. It’s small. It’s small.

So we can say like this. It’s small. It was big then.

Do you know then?, 意思是在那时,表示过去

Who wants to try? Blow this balloon.

Woo. It’s small. Now it’s big. So we can say it ‘s big. It was small then.

刚才出示这么几个词,我们来小结一下,表示现在我们可以用 is, am are.其中is am用于单数,are用于复数,两个以上我们就叫复数。表示过去我们用was和were, was用于单数,were用于复数。

还有,表示否定我们可以用wasn’t 和weren’t. wasn’t是was 的否定形式, 也就是was not, 而were not的缩写形式就是weren’t.

Read after me. Was, was, wasn’t wasn’t, were were, weren’t, weren’t.

游戏:把was, wasn’t, were, weren’t的词卡放上墙,手指那学生读哪,然后闭眼睛,拿下词卡,让学生说少了哪个。

Let’s talk! Look at this pictures. 1,2,3,4 4 pictures. I will talk about the one picture. Listen. They are old now. They weren’t old then. They were young.

Which picture? Right, picture 4. You can choose one of the picture and talk with your deskmate. 同桌之间选择一两幅图用英语说一说。可以一个用肯定,一个用否定。

课文学习

a.学生先看一遍课文动画,凡是看到形容词和表示过去式的词(肯定或否定)马上划横线

c. 跟读课文,然后齐读课文。

本节课是四年级下册第五模块第二单元的内容,主要内容是描述过去的特征和状态,比较现在和过去。这是小学英语中第一次引入过去式,是重点也是难点,对学生来讲理解起来有些困难,因为小学英语不要求讲解语法知识,因此对于教师来说,如何让学生更好理解和接受这一重要知识,是备课中的难点。为了准备着这节课,我请教了几位有经验的老师,帮我提了些建议,结合他们的建议,我逐步完善了自己的教案,通过今天的教学,我的反思如下:

一、 教学设计方面

1、热身环节--复习学过的形容词,让学生表演动作猜单词之后应该将单词展示出来,让学生整体上有个感知,这样复习的效果会更好。另外,让学生看图片说句子,可以多请几位学生描述,更丰富些。

2、听第一遍录音,让学生找形容词,“形容词”对于四年级学生可能有些抽象,可以板书到黑板上让学生把这些词找出来,而不是用“形容词”这一抽象概念。

3、听第二遍录音,让学生回答问题,应该让学生讨论讨论,直接听完一遍学生回答起来有些困难。

4、在重点内容的处理上,还需要更好的处理,本来我的初衷是配合板书,将现在与过去做直观的对比,但由于考虑到那样讲解学生会混乱,所以为了突出过去,而只是将过去的状态呈现了出来,但课后发现效果不好,学生理解不到位,以至于在以后的环节上,学生表达总是出错,混淆。

5、在读课文环节,本来是应先让学生跟读带有“was wasn’t were weren’t”句子,由于时间及其他原因,就直接跟读了课文,重点操练一下这些句子,之后再整体读课文。

6、在练习环节上,出示了几幅对比性的图片,让学生理解then和now,有些限制学生的思维,可以让学生自由表达。另外图片对比性不是很强。

7、在拓展环节,可以只出示一个活动进行拓展,把一个拓展到位就可以。

总之,对于这节课的内容来说,在教学设计方面,需要精心处理,尤其是重点知识(让学生会描述过去的特征和状态,比较过去与现在)的处理设计上,如何更好地让学生理解,为以后学习过去式做好铺垫,是非常重要的,而我这节课却没有达到预期目标,教学效果比较差。

二、 自身素质方面

1、首先应该着力加强的就是我的口语水平,包括语音语调,语言的灵活性等方面,还需要更进一步提高。

2、教学设计上,自身还应加强学习,多请教多借鉴,多思考多总结。

3、对于课堂组织与管理方面,调动学生情绪、应变能力等方面还需提高。

4、对自己要求太粗,不够细心,在细节方面做的还不够,有些粗心大意。

5、工作态度应该更加积极主动认真些,多听取老教师们的建议,
