  新目标七年级英语上册Unit 2 This is my sister.SectionB (1a-1d)教案

  【三维目标】

  1.知识目标:

  1) Words and expressions: son, cousin, daughter, uncle, aunt,grandpa, grandma, mom,dad..

  2)Target langue: 运用this/that these、those 介绍他人

  2.能力目标:根据相关信息辨别人物。

  3.情感目标:了解自己的家庭、理解家人、尊重家人。

  【教学重点、难点】

  1.重点:words and expressions, target language

  2.难点:根据相关信息辨别人物,用this/that these、those介绍他人。

  【教学过程】

  I.warm up

  Task 1: work in groups; ask the students take out a picture of their family. Introduce the person in the picture.

  They can use these words:

  father,mother,grandfather,cousin,uncle,sister,brother,daughter,son,this,that,these,those

  They can use these drills:

  This/That is …..

  These/Those are ……

  II.Presentation

  Task 1: Draw a picture of your family and friends. Tell your partner about your picture. They can use these drills: This/That is …..These/Those are ……

  Task 2: Work in pairs, talk about your family photos.

  III. Practice

  Task 1: Finish 1b-1c

  Task 2: Listen again. Finish the answers.

  IV.Production

  Task 1: Please take out the photos you have brought to school and try to say the names of the members in English.

  Task 2: Give us a report with the sentences. Then write them down.

  This/That is …..These/Those are ……

  V.Summary

  1. Sum up this, that, these, those.

  2. Exercises.

  VI.Homework.

  1. Finish tongbu

  Teaching Aims:

  1.Knowledge aims:

  Learn new words:

  dad, mom, grandpa, grandma ,uncle,aunt,daughter ,son,

  2. Ability aims:2) Train Ss’ communicative competence.

  3) Train Ss’ ability of listening, reading, speaking,

  writing.

  3. Moral aims: 1) Enable Ss to know that they should respect their

  parents and help with housework.

  2) Have a good time with family members in spare time.

  Teaching Important Points:

  1. the names of family members

  2. The usage of demonstratives pronouns.

  Teaching Difficult Points:

  1. the plural forms of the demonstratives pronouns.

  2. Train Ss’ ability to apply what they’ve learned to their daily life. Teaching Aids:

  Multi-media, recorder,the photos of their family

  Design of Teaching procedure:

  Task 3 Work on 2a (完成2a)

  1) T: What’s your name?

  S: My name is …

  T: In this unit we have known some English first names. Can you tell me? S: Yes. They are Jenny, Bob, Jack, Linda, Tom, Mary, Kate, Jane, Sally, Helen, Eric, Cindy, John and Paul. (While the students are talking, the teacher writes them on the blackboard. )

  T: You did well. But do you know which names are for male and which

  names are for female? (Explain)

  Boys and men are males. For example, Li Long is a male. Mr Zhang is a male. (列举几个班上的男生或男老师)

  Girls and women are females. For example, Li Xia is a female. Miss Liu is a female. Understand?

  Task 4

  Now, please look at 2a on Page 11. Write down the male first names in the first box and the female first name in the second box.

  Check the answers.

  Task 4 Work on 2b & 2c (完成2b & 2c)

  Before reading: Talk about the pictures.

  T: Here are two photos. (板书:Here are …)Are they photos of a family? S: Yes.

  T: Who are they? Do you know?

  S: No.

  T: Who is talking about the photos? Do you want to know?

  S: Yes.

  While reading:

  1)Fast reading

  T: Now please read the passage next to the two photos quickly and find out who is talking about the photo.

  S: Jenny.

  T: Is Jenny a male or a female?

  S: A female.

  T: You are great.

  2) Careful reading

  a. T: Jenny tells us the names of the people in the photos. Can you read the passage and circle the names?

  S: Yes.

  (While the students are reading, the teacher moves around to offer help.)

  b. Ask a student to say the names he/she has circled.

  c. T: Now you can read the passage again and complete the sentences in 2c. d. Check the answers. III. Practice

  Read the passage and invite students to read.

  IV.Production Task 1: Please take out the photos you have brought to school and try to say the names of the members in English. Task 2: Give us a report with the sentences. Then write them down. This/That is …..These/Those are ……

  V.Summary
