Why is pink or purple a color for girls and blue or brown for boys?

Red stands for good luck in many cultures. In China, children are given money in a red envelope to bring good luck in the New Year. For many nations, blue stands for protection. Now I’d like to tell you some places you might like to go during the week.

The first is the Café Theatre, which is a small sort of, well, not exactly theatre. They don’t do ordinary plays, more comedy and music and things. Sometimes with people joining in. It’s usually got a good atmosphere, and they serve food as well during the show.

印刷作坊或个人要制备一副活字，需要耗费巨大的人力物力。如清代翟金生为了复活“传世不久即告失传”的泥活字，竭尽全家资财，费时三十年，才制成坚硬如骨的五种规格的胶泥活字10 万余个。而一部书所需的雕版通常几个月就可以制好并投入印刷。另外，雕版使用整块的印版，在印刷过程里不易变形走样，印本品质比较稳定，有不少的精品流传于世。民间素有“一页宋版书，一两黄金”的说法，历代藏书家都以拥有宋版书为荣。而活字印刷，要用粘药来固版，在印刷过程中容易松动走位，影响印品质量。再次，活板的检字、印后拆版归位，都是比较繁琐的工作，这对工匠的文化水平要求比较高。雕版印刷对刻版工匠，首位的要求不是读书识字，而是刀法技艺。
