一、教材分析

1.教学内容分析

本单元是教材的十一单元,它以学生最为熟悉的日常作息习惯为谈论话题,通过对句型:

--What time is it? --It is six.

--What time do you usually get up? --I usually get up at six a.m.

练习时间的表达和询问方式,同时逐步的培养学生合理安排时间的能力。整个单元以谈论日常作息时间安排为主线,将日常生活中所涉及到的语言、词汇和时间的表达法融入一系列的小任务中,初一的学生通过完成一个个的任务达到交际的目的,从而能够合理的安排自己的作息时间;且初步了解时差。

2.教学对象分析

学生通过前段时间的学习,对一般现在时态的用法已经有了一定的语感和模仿运用的能力,也能够用简单的英语表达个人意见。通过本单元学习能基本掌握时间的表达法并能用英语谈论作息时间安排。 二、教学目标

通过本单元的学习,使学生掌握相关的时间表达方法以及相关的词汇,能够就生活中的时间安排及日常活动来交谈;通过情景设计来激发学生学习的学习兴趣,并培养学生的自主学习和与他人合作的精神;通过谈论作息时间及日常活动,培养学生合理安排作息时间的意识。 三、课时安排

(3). Show the new words: a.m. and p.m. Help students to say the time using a.m. and p.m. What time is it? It's 3:00 p.m.

本单元以Daily routines and times为话题,共设计了三个部分的内容。旨在通过单元教学使学生学会谈论日常行为、询问并答复有关时间的问题、询问并回答人们在特定时间所从事的活动。同时,本单元的重要知识点及语法点是运用when和what time引导的特殊疑问句询问时间、运用数词表达不同的时间,通过对目标语言的学习使学生学会更合理地安排自己的学习和课活动时间。 二、教学目标

1.让学生们掌握另外两种表达时间的方式。

2.掌握运用并听懂本节课所学习的一些日常活动的表达方式。 3.掌握本单元的重点单词及句型。 难点:

1.时间的表达法及第三人称单数谓语动词的运用。

2.通过阅读短文,综合学习运用本单元所学习的句型句式,提高学生们的综合英语水平。 四、学情分析

初一学生具有较强的求知欲和表现欲,本单元话题符合学生的这一特点。所以我就教学材内容设计各种任务型课堂活动,让学生都能参与活动,增强他们的英语学习积极性和学习信心。与此同时,初一学生通过前阶段时间的学习,掌握所学单元的交际用语和单词,有了一定的语言能力,但对于本课未接触过的语言点,仍有待教师的指导,综合运用英语的能力还有待进一步的提高;本单元的中心话题与学生的生活密切相关,因此教师在教学过程中,应结合学生的实际情况,激发学生兴趣,让学生主动学习,学有所获。

五、教学方法

为了实现我的教学目标,结合初一学生的年龄特点和认知规律,针对这一课型,我将采用任务型教学法、头脑风暴法、情景教学法相结合的教学方法。坚持以学生为主体,强调学生的自主学习,鼓励学生大胆尝试、运用语言,并在语言使用过程中,学习新知识。在词汇教学方面,以挂图呈现日常行为动词短语,达到直观联想的效果,对单词的记忆产生良好的作用。在句型教学方面,通过游戏竞猜、小组活动等方式,复现教学语言点,反复练习使用,达到熟练使用新句型。 六、教学用具

T: Let’s play a number game. We will say the numbers out loud together. When you reach seven, seventeen, seventy or the multiples of seven, you should clap your hands instead of saying the number.

【教学设计说明】本课时第一个要解决的问题是时间的表达法,必然会用到学过的数词,因此本环节热身既能唤醒学生的记忆又能使所有的学生在第一时间参与到课堂活动中来。

2. Presentation (呈现新知识)

(1) Present some pictures of clocks. Teach Ss how to say the time.

T: Look, what time is it?

Ss: It’s six/six thirty/seven/seven thirty/eight o’clock, etc.

Teach Ss how to use what time/o’clock.

Have Ss practice saying them.

(2) Present some pictures of activities in 1a. Help Ss to understand these new phrases: get up, go to school, get dressed, brush teeth, eat breakfast, take a shower.
