(2) Do she/he like apples?

—Yes,she/he does,she/he likes apples.

—No,she/he doesn`t,she/he doesn`t like apples.

Step 1 Warming-up and lead-in

Show an English song to students and let them sing and act together.

Apple round, apple red

Apple juice, apple sweet

Apple, apple, I love you

Apple sweet I love to eat Ss: Apple

T: Excellent

T: Do you like apples?

Ss: Yes, I do/ No, I don’t

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1、In this procedure, students will learn the names of some

food ,vegetables and fruit. And learn to talk about the food , vegetables and fruit they know. The teacher takes a box in which there are some food.

T: Now, let’s learn Unit 6 Do you like bananas?

T: Class, look at here. Can you guess what food in the box?

(Ask some students take them out.)

T: Who wants to try?

S1: ….

T: What’s this in English?

Ss: It’s …

T: Do you like …?

S1: Yes, I do / No, I don’t.

T: Does he/she like…?

Ss: Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t

(Teacher shows new words: tomato/ strawberry/ hamburger / milk/ bread/ salad/ ice-cream from one by one. And practice the sentence structures.)

2、Let students look at the board, telling them what kinds of food are countable noun and uncountable noun. And practice I like …/ I don’t like…/ He /She likes … /He/ She doesn’t like …/ They like…/ They don’t like…

T: Please look at the board. What’re these?

T: Do you like apples?

Ss: ...

T: Me too. I like apples.

T: Group 1, Do you like tomatoes?

G1: ...

T: Do they like tomatoes?

Ss: Yes, they do. / No, they don’t.

T: They like tomatoes. / They don’t like tomatoes.

3、Using “I/ you/ he/ she/ they” to practice “I like.., but I don’t like … He/ She likes …, but I he/she doesn’t like …”

T: All right! Look at the face is like, and the other is dislike .Please make sentences. For example: I like break, but I don’t like hamburgers. / He likes ice-cream, but he doesn’t like milk…

Step 3 Listening 1b

1.Now please read the conversations in 1b, then listen to the recorder carefully, and number the conversations (1-3).

T: OK! Now let’s listen to the conversations. Look at 1b, listen carefully and number the conversations. Are you ready?

Ss: …..

2. Ask a student to check the conversations.

T: Who can have a try? (Don’t be shy , just try!)

3. Let students read the conversations together. Boys read A, girls read B. Step4

4. Listening 2a~2b

1. T: All right! Class, let’s listen another conversations. Listen carefully and circle the food you hear. Ready? Let’s go!

T: What food do you hear in the conversation?

Ss: hamburgers, tomatoes, ice-cream

T: Excellent

2. T: Now, let’s listen again and fill in the blanks.

(Act out the conversations. Girls ask, boys answer )

(Teacher asks students to make a survey with their partners.)

Step6 Homework

(1) Make an interview to your friend about his father and mother’s likes And dislikes and record it.(with the key phrases)

(2) After the interview make a food survey and finish it.
